The media conference was launched in 1987 to demonstrate to the professional audience the possibilities of the then young private broadcasting and the potential of cable networks in Germany... What began as a meeting of private broadcasting pioneers has developed into a leading industry gathering in Europe in recent years. Today, with over 5,000 participants from Germany and abroad, several hundred accredited journalists, more than 300 speakers and more than 100 individual events, MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN is one of the pioneering events for the media and communications industry... The conference is organized by Medien.Bayern GmbH under the management of Stefan Sutor (Chairman) and Lina Timm. MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN is supported by the "Bayerische Staatskanzlei" and the "Bayerische Landeszentrale für neue Medien (BLM)".
