MOVING ETHOS

Leah Verier-Dunn is a Sarasota, FL, based artist committed to establishing connection within and among local and global communities through dramatic reflections of real life. She received her BFA in Dance from New World School of the Arts in Miami, FL. Subsequently, she launched a professional career in Miami, then New York, and eventually returned to her roots in Sarasota, where she co-founded Moving Ethos in 2007. Having worked with several distinguished companies, Leah found her artistic home with Rosie Herrera Dance Theater in 2011, with whom she continues to collaborate while juggling her two children and the Artistic Direction of Moving Ethos Dance... Leah's work has been described as "psychological dance theater with a lasting impact" (Sarasota Herald Tribune, 2015) and she is recognized for creating performances that stir thinking and thrust people into conversation.
