Adam is a qualified Employer's Agent, with over 20 years experience in the industry. He undertakes all employer's agent duties on schemes for our Registered Provider and Local Authority clients.
Adam has extensive experience in overseeing the delivery of complex multi-million new-build construction projects. He is skilled at producing cost plans and estimates, giving clients insight into their financial forecasts s at the viability stage.
A career highlight was acting as employer's agent and contract administrator for Network Homes. Adam worked with the Client team from viability stage, through a complex planning application and land purchase to deliver a large new estate in north London. Working to a strict budget, procurement of a suitable Contractor was key in delivering a high quality build for a range of use classes and tenures.
Responsibilities
Leading on client contact and delivery of all valuation and agency projects, and delivery of strategic advice to our clients in the public and private sectors in the commercial, residential, education, health and local government sectors.

A Senior Partner and co-founder of FFT, Colin is an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor with 30 year's experience, mostly providing services to public sector clients.
Colin leads our Housing and Property Consultancy team, which provides best-in-class consultancy services including stock rationalisation, strategic options appraisals and performance assessments.
His specific expertise is in Strategic Asset Management. Building upon years of delivering innovative and reliable stock condition and planned maintenance surveys, Colin more often now advises clients on the strategic management of their property portfolios, to optimise performance through the modelling, analysis and interpretation of high quality data.
Colin has a particular interest in portfolio performance assessment and options appraisals, devising strategies to plan and implement energy efficiency, carbon reduction and building safety improvement within the context of property asset management.
His practical and pragmatic approach to designing solutions for new sector challenges sets Colin and his expert team apart, and is a major advantage to clients who require an intelligent approach to the management of their property portfolios.
Colin is passionate about people development and regularly acts as a supervisor, counsellor and mentor for trainee staff. He is also a registered assessor for the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).

Senior Partner with overall responsibility for all strategic asset management consultancy services and projects delivered by the Practice, leading FFT's Housing and Property Consultancy team and providing related services for clients.
Dave has 20 years' experience in the construction industry, and is a Chartered Building Surveyor working from our Potters Bar office.
For several years Dave worked as a contract manager for a main contractor and clients benefit from his expertise in this area. Housing association and local authority clients rely on Dave's management of key areas such as legal disrepair, party wall matters and condition reports.
His input helps clients maintain their property portfolio. In fact, Dave has developed IT applications to gather building condition data, information which clients can use to plan cyclical maintenance work and forecast financial obligations with greater accuracy.

Grant manages a building surveying team within the Practice working primarily with housing association, local authority, education and ecclesiastical Clients.
Grant is experienced in the delivery of specialist projects including commercial and residential new build schemes, complex refurbishment and remodeling projects and provides a range of professional technical advice for buildings and development.
Grant has overseen the conversion of listed buildings into micro-brewery and sports facilities, complex commercial dry rot defect remedial schemes and the provision of specialist chemistry laboratories to current standards. Grant has recently managed and is actively involved in a range of multi-million new build instructions which are focused within the commercial and residential sectors.

Ian is in charge of our Brighton office and leads a team of employer's agents and project managers. He is particularly skilled at carrying out thorough feasibility studies and employer's agent duties, and has undertaken this work for our Registered Social Landlord and Local Authority clients.
A particular career highlight was Ian's involvement with Southern Housing Group, managing a project worth £10 million. Ian successfully delivered the internal refurbishment of over 100 units, installation of new gas central heating to two tower blocks, a new community centre and extensive landscaping works.

He is the Practice expert in construction failure, defects diagnosis, dilapidations and building pathology. Over many years in practice, Jeff has amassed skills in the environmental and heritage aspects of construction.
For clients concerned with a greener approach or who have heritage considerations to account for, Jeff's expertise in these areas is an asset.
Responsibilities
Management of large scale projects and procurement commissions from inception to completion for clients in the public sector, with a special focus on social housing.
Kevan has extensive knowledge of delivering asset management strategies and improvement plans, gained through more than 30 years in the industry.
His expertise includes troubleshooting, managing underperforming teams and acting as Interim Manager up to Executive level, for our Registered Provider and Local Authority clients. Kevan has worked extensively in compliance management and improvement, from auditing policies and procedures to drafting bespoke documents to meet the ever changing demands of statutory compliance.
Kevan has experience in providing strategic direction and operational management of contracts up to £20m. He leads teams on the delivery of maintenance service programmes to homes. Within FFT, Kevan is responsible for developing internal and external performance requirements, ensuring that standards remain high.

Lee has over 35 years of experience in the industry and has been a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) since 1991.
Lee takes charge of the Procurement and Quantity Surveying teams at FFT, overseeing all major procurement and quantity surveying projects. He also manages all Partnering and Alliancing Contracts, fulfils the role of Independent Advisor and sits on the Alliance Steering Group.
He is particularly skilled at supporting and implementing the change and development of cost models and methodologies for major social housing clients. His expertise helps clients to achieve the very best value from their assets and their contractors, thanks to his careful work on contract reviews.

Matt is a Chartered Building Surveyor and has over 25 years of industry experience. He has been with FFT for 20 years and leads our Asset Management Surveys Team.
His expertise is in assessing the condition of our client's assets; Matt's strategic input enables clients to make informed decisions about investment, redevelopment and disposal, optimising the performance of their property portfolios.
Matt has delivered condition surveys for a wide range of clients including those in the housing, local authority, emergency services, charity and leisure sectors.

Mehmet has been a Partner at FFT for over 15 years; his experience is extensive, totalling more than three decades in the industry for both the social housing and private sector.
His is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Chartered Environmentalist as well as a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Building.
Mehmet is a specialist in fire remedial works and fire investigative projects and in 2020 became an Associate of the Institution of Fire Engineers (AIFireE).
His expertise extends to asset management strategies and project management, allied with contract procurement and administration in the social housing and the private sector.
Mehmet has taken on the role of lead consultant on a variety of property refurbishment schemes, notably two Lewisham Council stock transfers, each with a project value of £30 million and has managed MTVH's investment programme with a £35 million spend since being commissioned.

Paul jointly leads FFT's Procurement Team; his 20 years of experience in the industry is an asset to a wide range of social housing and public sector clients.
Paul is experienced in the procurement and project management of OJEU-compliant contracts. A particular highlight was his involvement with A2Dominion, project managing the procurement of their £225 million Joint Ventures to deliver their repairs and voids Contracts from inception to completion, ensuring the client achieved the best possible outcome.
Since 2013 Paul has been a full a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and a full time member of the Chartered Association for Project Management (MAPM),

Paul leads FFT's Potters Bar office and clients benefit from his more than 30 years as a Chartered Building Surveyor. His particular areas of expertise include contract administration, defect diagnosis, including investigation of latent defects, cladding and other fire related matter, insurance housing, disrepair, and party wall matters.
Paul's expert professional opinion has supported legal and insurance cases; skills established as a Chartered Loss Adjuster (ACILA) since 1997.
Head of new-build project developments in our Orpington office, Richard manages a team of employers agents and project managers in the delivery of large housing projects.
Richard has been a Chartered Building Surveyor for over 30 years and has managed and administered an extensive portfolio of projects including inner city regeneration/brownfield developments, S106 led affordable framework partnerships and net carbon schemes.
He is also responsible for FFT's work in the education sector, managing commissions from universities as well as for listed buildings. He is particularly skilled at delivering alternative approaches to renewable energy sources; clients undertaking projects where renewable energy is a priority benefit from his expertise.

Responsibilities
Project management, bid management, marketing and agency services for clients seeking to develop their stock rationalisation activities, including acquisitions, swaps and disposals of tenanted stock.
Senior Partner and co-founder of FFT, Robin has over 40 years industry experience and is responsible for customer care and quality monitoring on all project management, building surveying, quantity surveying, principal designer and employer's agent commissions.
Shane has 15 years of industry experience and is head of FFT's Principal Design and Compliance Safety team. In 2019, Shane became chairman of the London branch of the International Institute of Risk & Safety Management; he undertakes specialist fire safety services, including fire risk assessments, compartmentation surveys and cladding and door surveys.
Projects in the education, healthcare, residential, leisure and public sectors make up the bulk of Shane's extensive experience, where he has provided principal designer and prior to 2015, CDM co-ordinator services on schemes up to £100 million.
Shane is a Technician Member Institution of Fire Engineers (TIFireE) Certified Member of the Association for Project Safety (CMaPS) a full member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (MIIRSM), Technician Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (TechIOSH) and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH); clients have benefitted from his work on risk assessments, Health and Safety Audits and acquiring safety accreditations.
