We're really proud of our Ice Cream and that is why we continue to make it in small traditional batches and why Rob is there to make or oversee every one. It's also the reason why there is always a niece, nephew, cousin or grandchild ready with a spoon for obligatory quality control... In 2017 Moomaid of Zennor Ice Cream received a 45% grant for the project ‘Moomaid of Zennor Ice Cream Ltd Growth'. Funding received from The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development was used to help buy 4 new pieces of machinery to scale up production of ice cream on the farm and help the business grow. Moomaid of Zennor worked with the West Cornwall Local Action Group to help deliver the Leader Funding project... We make luxury Cornish ice cream on our family run dairy farm perched on the cliffs between Zennor Hill and The Atlantic Ocean. The farm runs down to the small village of Zennor famed for its legend ‘The Mermaid of Zennor', the tale that tells of a young Cornishman lured into the sea..
