Dr Jennifer Holder Dolly is the Chief Executive Officer and Clinical Director of Dolly and Associates Limited. An experienced individual and family therapist with over 25 years experience, Dr Holder Dolly is known for her insightfulness and gentle yet incisive style in working with persons with a range of client concerns. She has worked intensively in disaster recovery and management, heading the social sector recovery effort in the ARD Grenada following the country's devastation by Hurricane Ivan. She has specialist training in trauma management, gestalt oriented change and brief therapy modes. She is a certified Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) trainer and facilitator. Dr Holder Dolly invests this considerable experience and knowledge in providing guidance and oversight to the clinical processes at Dolly and Associates Ltd.
Dr. Holder Dolly's tertiary education spans three educational bodies from the University of the West Indies, Mona, to Columbia University, New York and the Union Institute and University, Ohio where she obtained her doctorate in Interdisciplinary Studies (Social Work, Women's Studies and HSO organizational development). Dr Holder Dolly's passion for training and development led her to lecture in Social Work and coordinate Graduate Studies at the University of the West Indies for fifteen years. She has also worked extensively in programme development, planning and change management in the public sector. She has consulted with private, public sector and NGOs and conducted a range of psycho-educational and personal development workshops. Dr Holder Dolly has researched and presented many papers on different social phenomena at regional and international conferences and workshops.
Mr Franklyn V. Dolly is a pioneer of Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs) in Trinidad and Tobago. Concerned about the impact of economic liberalization on workers in Trinidad and Tobago he sought first to train and then offer EAP services in Trinidad and Tobago. In the 1980s Dolly and Associates Ltd offered the first EAP service to companies in Trinidad and Tobago.
Mr Dolly holds Masters degrees in Public Administration and Social Work from Syracuse University, New York and a BA Social Work, Ryerson University, Toronto. He has worked in senior management positions in Personnel, Finance and Administration and in Social Work for over forty (40) years. This wealth of experiences and training has shaped a unique perspective that enables him to straddle interpersonal issues as well as management and organizational challenges.
Known for his dynamic solution orientation and positive world view, Mr Dolly has a passion and unique aptitude for supporting persons in achieving their goals. He particularly focuses on behaviours, including one's thought processes, that need to change to achieve one's goals. This perspective has created space for the practice to embrace a range of methodologies and practices that support behaviour change - counselling, psychometric testing, training and facilitation etc. - all geared to helping persons enhance their quality of life.
With specialist training in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder; Disaster Preparedness; Psychological Debriefing; Managing Change/Transition; Solution focused Therapy; Traumatic Incident Reduction and Dispute Resolution/ Mediation services, Mr Dolly is exceptionally qualified in a range of behaviour change techniques. He has had extensive experience in developing and facilitating training programmes in a range of areas including organizational behaviour empowerment. Mr Dolly is a sought after speaker on a range of behaviour related topics.
