BEL MACEDONE

Bel has over 20yrs experience in the Circus Arts and has been working in the industry since 2004 in various roles spanning from performer, director, instructor, project manager, fierce advocate and currently Secretary of the Board of Sydney based Circus Company Aerialize. Bel recently completed a 3 year position on the Circus Advisory Board for the Sydney Festival under the Direction of Wesley Enoch. Bel directed the Aerialize Youth Performance Troupe for over a decade, with one of their shows winning both the ‘Physical Theatre/Circus Award' and the ‘Festival Directors Award', for the Sydney Fringe Festival. Bel has worked for many years as a Circus Projects Manager, connecting corporate clients and community events to the exhilarating and glamorous world of circus performance. Prior to this, Bel worked extensively as an Event and Projects Manager across NSW and as a Stage Manager for Live Events. Bel's background is as a Physical Theatre/Circus Performer and Youth Theatre Director with a Bachelor of Creative Arts(Performance/Stage Management) & Master of Teaching(Theatre). She has directed Youth Shows that have spanned audiences both locally and internationally. Now retired from her aerial performance career, Bel's main passion is both introducing Circus to both the very young and those with alternative needs, and creating opportunities for developing performance opportunities for Australia's talented circus artists. Bel currently works as a Projects Manager for NHE and teaches Theatre and Film at the Newtown High School of The Performing Arts Sydney.

IZZI HUBER

With around 25 years experience in the entertainment industry, Izzi (also known by her stage name as Elli) began her career as a young model and on-screen actor in magazines & TVC's from the age of five. Performing for live dance events as a teen led her to international training at renowned acrobatic schools including The Beijing International Arts School, China, as well as Ecole Leotard, Montreal which kick-started her acclaimed career in the Circus world. In 2010 Izzi was part of a team that won The Sydney Festival Award for outstanding Independent Artist as well as winning The Bytecraft Exceptional Achievement Award in Production and Design from a pool of 250 productions in Sydney Festival. In 2015 she won the Aerial Allstars competition, coming first place in Australia; NZ and later in 2017 received a bronze medal and special juror's choice award from the Australian Circus Festival. Izzi is also a costume designer/creator, having completed a BA majoring in Sculpture, Performance and Installation at Sydney University. Izzi has worked alongside some of the world's most distinguished companies such as Foxtel, Tony & Guy, YouTube, Bulgari, Toyota and Sony - consulting, choreographing and performing for clients locally & internationally. In more recent years, she has appeared in TV shows such as X-Factor, Australia's next top model and many TVC commercials like V8 Super cars alongside pop artist Pink. As an internationally acclaimed aerialist and singer, she has continued to perform with prestigious circus companies including Australia's Silver's Circus, Circus Rio, Mexico's Circo Atayde, New York's Hideaway Circus, Carnival Cruises, Swiss Dream Circus in both Canada & Malaysia. Italy's Le Cirque and Festival Arte Migrante, Zippos Circus Winter Wonderland in London, Cirque Starlight in Switzerland and will soon be seen performing at Dinner For Fun in Germany.

Leigh Anne

Leigh-Anne is an accomplished Dancer and Aerial Artist, now residing on the Gold Coast of Australia. She recently completed a contract in the German production of "Dirty Dancing" in Hamburg, dancing in a Swing position and covering the role of "Mrs Schumacher". Born in Australia, on the 24th of March 1976, she began her training in Brisbane, as an Artistic Gymnast at the age of four, and within the next year she started Ballet dancing and later Character, Contemporary, Jazz, and Tap. Her first professional engagement was with the Queensland Ballet Company, at the age of 11. In the same year she earned her Level 9 in Gymnastics, however her passion for Dancing took over and so she turned her focus purely to Dance. As a freelance performer she has worked on Television, in Fashion Shows, Night Clubs, and Gala Events throughout Australia, Asia and Europe. From Variety Theater to Casino Shows, Modern Companies to Musical Theater, her career extends. Leigh-Anne spent 7 years living and working in Europe. Soon after arriving in Germany she developed a Solo Static Trapeze Act and an Aerial Silk Act. Finally back on Australian shores, she is enjoying performing a variety of Aerial Arts including Aerial Ring and Spanish Web while sharing her experiences here at home. Leigh Anne recently represented Nat Harris Entertainment in the exciting new live musical, ‘King Kong.
