PURDUE SMART LAB

Welcome to the website of the Smart Machine and Assistive Robotics Technology (SMART) Lab at Purdue University! The SMART Lab is an interdisciplinary lab consisting of members with diverse academic backgrounds. We conduct both basic and applied research on robotics with regard to its scientific and engineering aspects, and combine practical and theoretical approaches to solve real-world problems. Our primary research topics include multi-robot systems, human-robot interaction, robot learning, and robot design & control, with focus on applications in field robotics and in assistive technology and robotics.
