TUFIDCO is providing financial assistance to implement various infrastructure projects of local bodies, Statutory Authorities, Boards and other Government agencies under TUFIDCO'S INFRASTRUCTURE FUNDING SCHEME(TIFS) from its share capital, reserves and by availing loan from banks and mobilising public deposits... In addition to the Nodal Agency function for Government schemes, TUFIDCO is extending financial assistance from its own source to the Local bodies and Parastatal Agencies for various infrastructure development schemes. TUFIDCO has been continuously earning profit right from the year of inception i.e. from 1990-91.
