Acadia First Nation's unique geographical composition spreads through the Southwestern regions of Nova Scotia spanning five counties from Yarmouth to Halifax. A Mi'kmaw Nation with ties to traditional territory... Through the past twenty six (26) years I have been blessed to have worked with so many dedicated and committed people who serve our communities. Through those years, I have seen our communities grow and progress with the involvement of our elders and youth. We are a proud Mi'kmaw First Nation and our dedicated team of staff and Council members have worked hard to provide a level of service that meets the unique needs of our communities. Although there is a need to increase the level of services and programs for our increasing membership, I am confident in our resolve and commitment to improve the quality of life in all our communities.
