Adam Brown

Job Titles:

Adam has developed his knowledge of the practical application of law with internships at Allen and Overy and CMS, as well as having conducted legal research for a number of barristers. He writes articles and case summaries for Gainsborough Law and is studying law at the University of Cambridge. In his free time, Adam enjoys reading, listening to songs from musical theatre and following Arsenal Football Club.

Emily Wessels

As part of our Practice Manager team, Emily brings over 10 years experience working as a legal secretary and paralegal within civil litigation and commercial property. As well as completing a number of qualifications during her career in law, Emily has also recently completed three certificates within bookkeeping and accounting. In her spare time, Emily enjoys cooking, reading and long walks with her family and their dog.

Llewellyn Culver-Evans

Having previously obtained an LLB from Swansea University, Llewellyn recently completed his BPTC. He gained an Outstanding overall grade and the 10th highest average in his cohort. Since then, Llewellyn has undertaken work with The University of Law, where he is a Disability Support mentor for current Bar Course students. Llewellyn is involved in ensuring reasonable adjustments are in place for students exams, regularly advocating to both the University and the BSB regarding recommended exam adaptations. Llewellyn is also involved in a number of Bar-related outreach projects. He has a passion for increasing access to the Bar and undertakes projects with GCSE and A Level students from underrepresented backgrounds, assisting them with university applications, advocacy training and career coaching. Outside of work, Llewellyn is a keen tennis player, a drummer and a fan of Chelsea Football Club.

Malcolm Halliday

As a member of the Practice Manager team, Malcolm is able to apply his IT, project management and administration skills gained from a career based in engineering management and as company director of his own business. Outside work Malcolm is Chairman of his local Parish Council, enjoys spending many hours on the Golf course and also following Ipswich Town Football Club.

Michael Harris

Michael is currently concluding the final year of his undergraduate law degree with the Open University and has accepted a place to study the Bar Course at the University of Law. Prior to returning to academia in order to change careers, Michael had a decade long career in marketing and business development; predominantly within the healthcare sector. Michael has an extensive history of voluntary work ranging over 16 years, most notably he has held the position of trustee in multiple charities focused on the education and mental health of young people. Outside of studying and working, Michael has two children, a dog, a cat and five chickens who keep him busy.

Olivia Beach

Sharon Pearman

With an extensive corporate career history in financial services, combined with running her own HR consultancy business in both the UK and the Middle East; Sharon brings her employment law knowledge along with commercial and organisational skills to the team of Practice Managers. She is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and holds an MSc. Sharon has many pastimes including reading, travelling and trying to keep fit!
