Dr. Joan Jen

Dr. Joan Jen possesses a B.Sc. in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior, with an emphasis on Physiology from the University of CA, Davis and a Doctor of Optometry from University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Jen has been in practice for 10 years, and specializes in LASIK co-management. She grew up in the Bay Area and is an avid sports fan, especially for football and fantasy football, skiing and running. She also enjoys traveling and is a big animal lover and advocate.

Dr. Ketul Joshi

Dr. Joshi specializes in General Optometry, Contact Lenses, Dry Eye and Computer Vision Syndrome, and is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association and the Santa Clara County Optometric Society. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Santa Clara County Optometric Society. He earned his BS, with distinction, from the University of Alberta, and made the Dean's List while earning his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri, St. Louis College of Optometry. Dr. Joshi was the proud recipient of the 2010 California Optometric Association Young Optometrist of the Year Award. As a child, Dr. Joshi grew up in Edmonton, Canada, and enjoyed skiing and playing hockey in the winter and playing basketball in the summer. He also enjoyed spending time hiking in the Rockies and attending the many festivals that the city had to offer during the year. He was always interested in biology and specifically the visual system and how the eyes impact our perception of the world around us. Dr. Joshi is married with 2 children, a freshman and senior in high school. In his spare time he enjoys running, golf and staying active. He has participated in many 10K and half marathons as well as completing a Spartan Trifecta.

Mitch Nagtalon

Mitch Nagtalon, ABOC, started his optical career as an optometric assistant. With a strong medical background and passion for optics. He has worked with multiple specialty offices in ophthalmology and optometry clinics in the past 20 years. Certified by the American Board of Opticianry, he has worked closely with multiple optical laboratories and manufacturers like Essilor, Zeiss, Hoya, Maui Jim and Oakley to push the boundaries of prescription lens technology as a result, giving patients more options. A Filipino native, Mitch loves cooking, the outdoors, technology and home improvement. In his off time he plays the guitar and keyboard and loves traveling with his wife Anna and son Timothy.
