The aim of this project, worth EUR 250.000 was to prepare and strengthen Audit Authority of Montengro in compliance with EU for execution of tasks within the Instrument of Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA)... Audit Authority is functionally independent from all actors in the management and control system of EU funds (IPA, structural funds after the accession of Montenegro to the EU and other EU funds), whose task is verification of the effectiveness and stability of functioning of management and control systems from EU funds in Montenegro and compliance with the respective EU and national rules to ensure legality and regularity of the transactions and to protect interests of the Community and national interests.
