Alexander L.H. Reed

grew up in St. Tammany Parish and graduated from Northlake Christian High School. Alex earned his Juris Doctorate from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2016. Prior to joining the Law Office of Ross F. Lagarde, APLC (now Lagarde Law), Alex practiced in Lake Charles, focusing on the areas of civil litigation, business litigation, family law, and white-collar criminal defense. Alex has been recognized as one of the top-rated civil litigation young attorneys in Louisiana when he was selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for the years 2020, 2021, and 2022. Alex is an active member of the National Trial Lawyer's Top 40 Under 40. He was also featured in the Acadiana Profile Magazine Top Lawyers in 2018 and 2020. Alex is a former President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association. He also served as Treasurer of the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association Family Law Section, was an At-Large Member of the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association Executive Council, performed as an At-Large Member of the Southwest Louisiana Bar Foundation, and participated in the 2017-2018 LSBA Leadership Class. Alex also supports numerous civic and social organizations in the greater New Orleans area. Alex has been married to his high school sweetheart, Katie Annessa Reed, since 2014. When he is not working, Alex enjoys spending time with his two sons, kayak fishing, and supporting the LSU Tigers.

Jeffrey G. Lagarde

Jeff grew up in the Greater New Orleans area, graduated from St. Stanislaus in Bay St. Louis, and has strong family ties on both sides of the lake, as well as the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Jeff obtained his undergraduate degree from LSU, prior to obtaining his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law where he received Dean's List honors as well as the AmJur award for the highest scores in Civil Law Property. Mr. Lagarde's legal career began as a prosecutor in the Jefferson Parish District Attorney's office in 2008. In his four years as a prosecutor, Jeff handled various case types and successfully argued before the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal before being assigned his own division as a felony prosecutor where he tried all manner of crimes to verdict before juries. After his years as a prosecutor, Mr. Lagarde accepted a position with a civil defense litigation firm located in the New Orleans metro area. There he litigated cases throughout the state of Louisiana on behalf of motor vehicle manufacturers, insurance companies, trucking and bus companies, as well as other business entities. Jeff joined Ross F. Lagarde, APLC (now Lagarde Law) in July 2017, where he has since focused his practice on personal injury and business litigation. He has represented clients throughout the state of Louisiana and in Mississippi on a pro hac vice basis. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of St. Stanislaus High School in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, as well as the St. Tammany advisory board for a regional credit union. He is an active member of the American Inns of Court for the 22nd Judicial District and serves as the vice-president of the Greater Slidell Bar Association. When he has time outside of the legal arena and being a husband and father, Jeff enjoys fishing, tinkering on old vehicles like his Jeep CJ7, and watching LSU football.

Ross F. Lagarde

A native of Covington, Mr. Lagarde earned his Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University in 2001. Prior to opening Ross F. Lagarde, APLC (now Lagarde Law), he was a partner with Jones Lagarde, L.L.C. in the area of personal injury, civil litigation, business litigation, commercial disputes, real estate litigation, sales and use tax, and ad valorem taxes. Prior to forming Jones Lagarde LLC, he was a partner with the firm of Abbott, Simses, & Kuchler in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Lagarde is licensed to practice law in four states: Louisiana (2001), Mississippi (2004), Alabama (2005), and Texas (2007). He is admitted to practice in all of the United States District Courts in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. His professional associations include The Louisiana State Bar Association, the Mississippi State Bar Association, the Alabama Bar Association, the Texas Bar Association, the Greater Covington Bar Association, the Louisiana Association for Justice, and the 22nd Judicial District Court Inns of Court. Mr. Lagarde is a former president of the Greater Covington Bar Association (GCBA) and co-founded the St. Tammany Young Lawyer's Bar Association. He is an elected member of the St. Tammany Republican Parish Executive Committee (RPEC; the governing body for the Republican Party in St. Tammany), Chairman of the Northshore Business Council, and serves on the board of directors of Metairie Bank. Mr. Lagarde is one of the top-rated personal injury - plaintiff attorneys in Slidell. He has been selected to the Super Lawyers every year since 2014 and was selected to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars for the years 2012 and 2013. Mr. Lagarde was also honored to be included in the list of America's Top 100 High Stakes Litigators for the past several years. Mr. Lagarde and his wife, Alison, reside on the north shore with their three children, Grace, Forrest, and Charles. In addition to the full-time practice, he also supports numerous philanthropic organizations with his time and services.
