Aaron M. Poffinberger is Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Poffinberger joined the Bank in 2015 as its Vice President and Director of Internal Audit. In 2019, he was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer and in 2021, to Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. Prior to joining the Bank, he spent 11 years at Yount, Hyde, & Barbour, P.C. providing various auditing and consulting services to financial institutions.

Brandon C. Lorey - CEO, President

BreeAnn Edmonds - VP

She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERâ„¢ professional designation. BreeAnn has served as a Trust Officer for 15 years, managing many trusts, estates, conservatorships, and investment management relationships. She provides financial planning services to clients of the Bank. She has been instrumental in formulating Trust Department policies and procedures. BreeAnn joined Bank of Clarke in 2021.

Cary C. Nelson has been a Director since 2018. Mrs. Nelson is President of H. N. Funkhouser & Co., a petroleum products distributor serving residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural markets. A CPA, she is also a member and incoming president-elect of the Winchester Rotary Club. Mrs. Nelson's experience as an accountant and as an executive of a successful corporation provides the Company managerial accounting support and leadership skills in strategic thinking.

Debra L. Purrington - EVP

Debra has decades of experience in the law of trusts and estates and fiduciary administration. As Chief Fiduciary at the Bank of Clarke, Debra continues a longstanding tradition of accomplished fiduciary services. She is responsible for trust regulatory compliance, oversees all trust and estate administration, mentors a successful team of experienced trust and investment professionals, and develops fiduciary systems, products, and services. Debra also serves as an internal legal resource to Bank officers, helping to manage legal risk in several business lines. Debra has counseled many fiduciaries and led a segment of U.S. Trust, Bank of America, where she earned national recognition for fiduciary excellence. She has also drafted and established trust policy and served as part of a fiduciary litigation team. Debra has served as business consultant or expert witness in matters involving prudent investor law, fiduciary liability, trust compliance, and bank trust services. Debra L. Purrington is Executive Vice President, Chief Fiduciary and Bank Counsel. She is responsible for trust regulatory compliance, oversees all trust and estate administration, mentors a successful team of experienced trust and investment professionals, and develops fiduciary systems, products, and services. Ms. Purrington joined the bank in 2021.

Douglas C. Rinker

Douglas C. Rinker has been a Director since 2006. Mr. Rinker is the Chairman of the Board and President of Winchester Equipment Company, an equipment sales, rental and service company headquartered in Winchester, Virginia. Additionally, Mr. Rinker currently serves on the Frederick County Economic Development Authority. As the chief executive officer of a successful company, Mr. Rinker provides the Board with valuable insight and guidance on the issues of corporate strategy, business community growth and risk management. Additionally, Mr. Rinker has demonstrated his commitment to the community by assisting several community and civic organizations.

Janice L. Kuhn

Janice joined Bank of Clarke in 2005 as an Osaic Institutions Investment Consultant (formerly Infinex), bringing with her 10 years of Investment Services experience. Prior to joining Bank of Clarke, Janice was a financial representative for MetLife, specializing in the setup of retirement plans in the non-profit field including schools, hospitals, and religious organizations. Prior to this, she was a retirement planning specialist for Morgan Stanley for 5 years. Janice attended Broward Community College, Western Carolina University, & the Cannon School of Business. She holds a Series 7, 63 & 66 registration through Osaic Institutaions, Inc. Janice also holds her Life, Health, & Annuity Insurance License. She resides in Winchester with her husband.

John D. Stokely Jr.

Mr. Stokely is the President and owner of Cavalier Land Development Corp., a real estate development company in Oakton, Virginia and is a former President of the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association and the Home Builders Association of Virginia. Mr. Stokely is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Shenandoah University as well as a Trustee of the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science. John R. Milleson

Mr. Zmitrovich joined the bank in 2016.

Kaley P. Crosen

Kaley P. Crosen is Executive Vice President, Chief Humans Resources Officer of the Bank and Secretary of the Company. Mrs. Crosen served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources through 2019. Mrs. Crosen joined the bank in 1998.

Kathleen Croson

Morgan Chase, Citigroup, Bank of America-Merrill Lynch and most recently, Folio Financial, which was acquired by Goldman Sachs.

Mark DeSarno

Mark joined Bank of Clarke in August of 2023 and brings over 20 years of experience in financial services to the team. Mark has been a financial advisor and manager with Ameriprise Financial and Metlife as well as a Regional Vice President with Prudential. Mark specializes in helping families and businesses reach their financial goals through planning.

Mary Bruce Glaize

He is the President of Lenoir City Company, a real estate investment company in Winchester, Virginia and President of Clarco Corporation, which operates as Northside Lanes, a bowling center in Winchester, Virginia. He is also a Board member for Valley Health System. Mr. Gilpin's broad experience provides the Company leadership and consensus-building skills to guide the Board through critical discussions regarding its current challenges and future strategic initiatives.

Wendy Pinsky - VP

Wendy Pinsky came to Bank of Clarke in July 2021 as Vice President and Trust Officer. She has worked over 25 years in the Trust industry, focusing on trust administration and estate settlement. After earning a bachelor's degree from Southwestern College in Kansas in 1994, she moved to Virginia, where she attended Southeastern Trust School at Campbell University in North Carolina. In 2004 she completed the three-year program at Cannon Trust School and attained the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation. The same year, she earned the title of Vice President and Trust Officer at The Fauquier Bank Wealth Management. Wendy and her two children live in southern Fauquier County. Weekends will find her volunteering in various capacities through her church and community organizations, hiking, kayaking, or spending time with her family.

Will Canard

He enjoys spending time working in the yard, being on the river, eating at restaurants in downtown Winchester, as well as spending time with family and friends.
