Foldo started manufacturing canvas awnings. In the early 1950's Foldo moved into aluminium awnings and patented the aluminium retractable awning that is still manufactured today. In 1967 HM van der Leek Jnr. took over the reigns and designed the adjustable louvre which is the flagship product of the company. In 1994 RB van der Leek started fulltime working as a employee and in 1999 took over the reigns... Awnings Cape Town by Foldo Awnings. Established in 1938 Foldo Awnings is the Market Leader in Aluminium Awnings Cape Town
