DESTINATION: HOME

Solving homelessness requires the commitment of our entire community, and Destination: Home was formed to bring stakeholders together to address this common goal... Our goal is to END homelessness in our community and we're committed to advancing solutions that will deliver true systemic change... In 2011, Destination: Home became a formal initiative of the Health Trust and helped launch Housing 1000 - a three-year campaign to house 1,000 of our community's most vulnerable chronically homeless men, women and families. The success of the campaign led to the adoption of a Housing First approach in Santa Clara County and helped lay the groundwork for the historic $950 million Measure A affordable housing bond. In 2017, Destination: Home became a Supporting Organization under the umbrella of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, a relationship which continues today.
