E.R. FIELD

E. R. Field, Inc. was founded in 1931, as an electrical contracting company, by my father, Eugene R. Field. The company specialized in schools and ultimately wired more than a hundred new schools and additions, as well as commercial, institutional and design build projects... As fire alarm become the larger part of our business the decision was made to curtail electrical construction in favor of fire alarm. We stopped competing with other electrical contractors as they quickly became our customers. Direct sales to large end users, primarily industrial and utility companies, soon followed. Today commercial and institutional facilities are included in our customer base as we have expanded our product lines to include clean agent fire suppression, security systems, and monitoring.
