GEO HANSON

We are a family run business first founded in February 1865 and operated under the Company name of W. Hanson & Sons until 1961 when the Company divided and Geo. Hanson & Sons was formed. In 1961 our main work was for building and joinery works with Notts County Council our main customer carrying out works in Schools, Care Homes, Social Services Offices, Police Stations etc. The Company is run by William and Edmund Hanson with two members of the next generation, Peter and Oliver Hanson, also working in the business... 50 years later and local authority work is still our main source of employment with brickwork and joinery our main work. We also employ sub contract plasterers, electricians, plumbers and decorators and offer a full service when needed. We have a large joinery workshop for manufacture of purpose made doors, windows, gates and other bespoke items. We also fit UPVC doors and windows along with composite doors.
