GREATER TRENTON BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE (GTBHC) is a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization licensed by the State of New Jersey to provide mental health and substance abuse services. As a multi-service behavioral health organization, we have served the residents of Mercer County since 1981. Throughout our history, we have been an innovator, developing new approaches and solutions to a wide range of community problems... GTBHC is able to dramatically reduce costs because we are more accessible, more responsive, and offer a wider range of services than state psychiatric institutions... GTBHC OFFERS a continuum of care for both at-risk children and families and for adults. We provide services with varying degrees of intensity based on client need. This allows us to intervene at the first signs of distress and with the proper intensity to prevent the worsening of problems and help speed our clients' recovery.
