MARTALALLANA

Marta Lallana García is originally from Zaragoza, in the north of Spain. After she graduated from the Arts School of Zaragoza, she moved to Barcelona to study Cinema at the Pompeu Fabra University. While at UPF, she developed a strong passion for visual arts as photography and film... From 2016 to 2019, she writes, produces and directs her feature debut OJOS NEGROS. Winner of the BIZNAGA DE PLATA BEST SPANISH FILM at the Malaga Film Festival 2019. Produced by Nanouk Films and distributed by FILMIN, it premiered in theaters in July 2019. It had a great run through festivals, with more than 20 selections such as Official Section of BAFICI (Buenos Aires), San Sebastián SSIFF Film Festival, or the Best Direction award at the Cinespaña festival (Toulouse). In addition, it was nominated to the Gaudí Awards and the Feroz Awards.
