RH MOBILITY

The Richmond Hill Mobility Accessibility Foundation (RH Mobility) was formed in 1999, when a group of volunteers decided that Richmond Hill needed an accessible taxi van to help individuals with mobility impairments living within the City of Richmond Hill. Through different fundraising adventures, RH Mobility started to raise much-needed funds, and in doing so was able to assist with the purchase of two accessible vans. Although RH Mobility no longer provides a van service, the foundation decided to broaden the scope of their mandate to move beyond just transit services, and to achieve their goal of making Richmond Hill a barrier-free community.
