Managing Director - Kiddie Kloset Retrak Board Member Elizabeth Wanjiku Elizabeth prefers to be called Wanjiku Njunguna Minjire She is the founder and Managing Director of Kiddie Kloset. Elizabeth is a trained lawyer who traded the courtroom for entrepreneurship and successfully runs a chain of children's clothing stores. Kiddlie Kloset is the best one stop baby shop. Elizabeth started it in 2013 and it has grown from a small duka to a proper retail store with a vast variety of good quality and affordable products necessary to take care of babies Elizabeth was led to this career when she saw a gap in the market for baby stuff while searching for baby stuff for her children and thus Kiddie Kloset was born to offer convenience for parents as a one stop kids' store Since becoming a mother, education has become something she is passionate about; constantly seeking creative solutions to her own children's education. She is also an excellent conversationalist who seeks authentic connections with people. Elizabeth's strongest influencers in life are her family; (her husband, parents, and children). Elizabeth is most proud of becoming a place where mothers interact as they shop, and she is also proud that she is able to offer mothers solutions in regard to all they need to raise a baby from infancy to a toddler. Franck joined Carrefour in 2000 as a Department Head at Carrefour City Centre in Dubai and has advanced through various roles across the UAE, GCC and Africa. Before assuming his current role, he was the Country Manager of East Africa and played a vital role in Majid Al Futtaim's advancement into Africa.
Franck brings over 30 years' experience in the industry, having previously worked in hypermarkets in Vietnam and France, before joining Majid Al Futtaim. One of his proudest accomplishments has been establishing Carrefour as a leading retailer in East Africa, with great prospects for sustained growth in the future.
He holds a BTS Technico-Commercial diploma and a Certificate in Senior Executive Management from HEC Paris Business School in France.
Franck has been greatly inspired by the late Mr. Majid Al Futtaim who was a visionary with a clear sense of purpose and an unwavering vision.

Ken was led to his career by his desire to always enhance customer experience and meet customer demand using effective supply strategies
Ken is involved in the Fintech industry where he started an SMS communication business that now includes payment integration. The desire to connect businesses to their customers is a crucial opportunity especially where the voice of the customer can be heard effectively and tangibly. They are currently working on capabilities to digitize Supply Chains effectively including via their new e-procurement platform that automates business to business interactions and makes them super-efficient.
Ken is also the Vice President for Supply Chain in East Africa at Copia Global which is an m-commerce company offering everyday household consumption products to our consumers.
Ken's strongest influencers have been so many. He has met great people at work, at home, at social gatherings; and each interaction impacts him in its own little ways. He appreciates all these impacts.
Ken's proudest accomplishment is seeing his children thrive. Those little milestones are just beautiful.
Ken is yet to take up Galaxy Travel but maybe metaverse will take him there faster. He really enjoys tembea-ing Kenya, whether it's the beautiful views of Kericho tea estates or the Indian ocean. Eating some good dry fish at the shores of Lake Victoria is an experience he would recommend
Leonard Mudachi, an African entrepreneur of Kenyan descent, is a seasoned hospitality professional with expertise in the both the corporate and startup restaurant, hospitality, and retail management environments. He has diverse strategic, development & management experience from working with the top restaurant brands in the East African Region. These include Big Square, Java House Africa, Blanco's Holdings Ltd and the Tamarind Group.
With strengths in brand and people development, strategy, organizational design & development coupled with indepth knowledge of the local market and market environment Leonard is a key player in the growth and development of the restaurant and retail landscape in East Africa. Resulting from his vast experience spanning over 25 years. He is considered a thought leader in the fields of restaurant operations & development, hospitality, and business management.

He is recognized as a leading real estate lawyer in Kenya by Chambers and Partners. He also serves on the boards of several leading companies and of various local trusts, charities and foundations as part of his Corporate Governance advisory role.

MD & CEO Quickmart Retrak Board Member Peter G. Kang'iri Peter is a seasoned retail professional with deep understanding of the key drivers of successful retail in the EA region that put him at the helm of the Tumaini Supermarkets as its CEO, and later the Group Managing Director and CEO of the merged Tumaini and Quickmart supermarkets, trading under the brand name ‘Quickmart'. His acumen in analytics and financial modeling, experience in Operations and success in team growth and engagement provides a strong foundation for retail leadership in a highly competitive sector. Peter's prior 15 years' Finance professional experience also spans various sectors including construction, logistics, ICT and pharma with specific expertise in fundraising, deal structuring, resource planning and supply chain. Peter has an MBA in Finance from University of Nairobi, and a Bachelors in Finance from Catholic University of Eastern Africa. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Secretary (CPS) and Certified Credit Management (MICM)

Victoria Courts is an off shoot from the Victoria Furnitures Group.
Victoria Furnitures did and does a great job in Office Furniture, however Rupen felt there were huge gaps on the home furniture / retail segment and wanted to revolutionize this space by offering customers greater convenience, choice, value for money and credit facilities and as a result Victoria Courts was born.
The furniture business has been in his family for over 50 years and from a very young age, it was engrained in him that he would be joining the family business - every holiday was spent working in the business (some may call it free labor )
Wambui Mbarire is a well-respected influencer in Retail sector in the Region. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Retail Trade Association of Kenya (RETRAK). Ms. Mbarire has been with the association since its inception and has built it up to be The Voice of retailers, sort by both Government and Private sector for dialogue and various partnerships. She passionately champions best practices in the retail sector and has been instrumental in defining policy and regulatory framework for the Sectors positioning and exponential growth. She also seats as a Council Member of the Africa Retail Academy, based at the Lagos Business School in Nigeria.
Wambui champions responsible development and stewardship of various social sectors including sitting in the Impala club Board. She has been serving as the Sergeant at Arms of the Rotary Club of Lavington Eco and is currently the President. She is also a Board Member, Kenya Producer Responsibility (KEPRO), Tourism taskforce member.
Wambui is an accomplished administrator with over eighteen years' all-round experience and is the holder of a Bachelor of Education Degree, from Kenyatta University, and a Certified Public Accountant from Strathmore University.
She has worked in personnel and human capital management, finance, administration field and operations management.

He has worked with Tuskys and Uchumi supermarkets where he contributed to their transformation and is also one of the director's at RETRAK (Retail Trade Association of Kenya) He has undertaken numerous market visits for best practice and market studies in retail chains and stores in the UK, USA, Brazil, Portugal, Egypt, SA, Turkey, Japan, China, Seychelles, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ethiopia. Willy is a man of many hats; retail consultant, motivational speaker, wanderlust, sports enthusiast (golf, rugby and football), nature lover, just to mention but a few. ‘Willy is a powerhouse in Marketing and he goes at length to achieve goals.
