Adam Branstetter

Ali Walker

Ali grew up in Park City, UT and was an avid soccer player for most of her life before she found running in high school. She accepted a scholarship to run Track & Field and Cross Country for the University of Wyoming, where she studied Kinesiology & Health Promotion and graduated in 2017. After college she spent three years coaching in a sport performance facility, personal training, and doing adult fitness. She decided to go back to school for Physical Therapy and moved up to Meridian to attend Idaho State University and pursue a new career. She completed one of her clinical rotations at Rock & Armor and decided it was the perfect mix between PT and Sport Performance for her dream job. She loves helping patients reach their goals and also works with the local track athletes. Ali still enjoys running in the mountains for fun but also uses her free time to go skiing, hiking, and camping and loves to try new food and restaurants around the Boise area.

Brandon Carreon

Originally from San Diego, CA, Brandon attended St. Augustines High School where he played football as a wide receiver and earned his letter for track and field as a sprinter and long jumper. After high school, Brandon attended San Diego Mesa College where he earned his Associates of Arts in Athletic Training followed immediately by obtaining his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology: Applied Fitness from CSU Northridge. During his early academic career, Brandon gained two athletic training internship opportunities at University of San Diego and CSU Northridge. Additionally, he interned at University of San Diego again and UC of San Diego with their strength and conditioning programs for football and other olympic sports programs, respectively. After a period of working at a physical therapy clinic as a sports performance coach and physical therapy aide and creating his own youth sports performance program, Brandon decided to earn his Master of Kinesiology: Behavioral & Biophysical Studies at Boise State University in order to work towards his career goal of coaching strength and conditioning at the collegiate level. During his time at BSU he also was an observational intern for the Olympic Sports strength and conditioning program. He has been working as the Football Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Rocky Mountain High School since 2018 and recently was brought on here to Rock and Armor as a Sports Performance, and Mobility and Flexibility Coach in 2021. He loves exploring Idaho, fishing, hiking, and camping in his free time.

Brett Homstad

Brett, a Minnesota native, graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2011 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and completed coursework for a Masters in Kinesiology. Since graduating, Brett has practiced for 5 years as an outpatient therapist in the Treasure Valley and joined the Rock and Armor team in 2016. Brett is certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) as well as Cross Fit Level 1 Certification (CFL1) Growing up, Brett was a multi-sport athlete, lettering in track, baseball, basketball, and football. It was through his participation in sports that led to several injuries that required rehab. It was during this rehab where Brett developed his determination for overcoming injuries in order to get back to the sports he loved. He now uses the same motivation to help his patients in their recovery to achieve their goals. In his free time, Brett enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, camping, and being with his family Nikki and their son's Bridger and Briggs.

Chad Blair

Chad was born and raised in Boise, Idaho where he attended Timberline High. He played several sports growing up and was able to letter for Timberline in lacrosse. He then moved up north where he earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Health from the University of Idaho. During his time there, he worked alongside the Associative Director of Competitive and Recreational Sports to help promote participation in sports throughout the college community. After taking a year off to work as a Clinical Aide in the valley, he was eventually accepted to the Idaho State University DPT program. He graduated in 2021 and immediately accepted a job at Rock and Armor. Currently, he is advancing his education through the Evidence in Motion sports residency program alongside Nate. Chad hopes that upon completion, he will have the proper tools to help assist a number of athletes by returning them to their respective sport. Chad believes that his love for exercise is what drove him to become a physical therapist. He is always looking for new and exciting ways to teach his patients how to exercise but most importantly, how to have fun with it. He is very excited to join the team at Rock and Armor and work alongside some of the best physical therapists and sports performance coaches in the valley. In is free time, he enjoys exercising, skiing, golfing, and being in and around the water.

Chris Edwards

Chris Edwards was born in Pennsylvania and moved to the Treasure Valley at the age of 7. He attended Meridian High School and was a two-sport athlete playing football and baseball. As a senior he earned all-conference honors in baseball. He also bowled competitively and won the state championship as a junior and was the runner-up as a senior. Chris received his BS in Exercise Science from Idaho State University in 2016. While at ISU, he was a member of the football team as a defensive lineman. He garnered several academic and athletic awards as a student athlete and was inducted into the college football hall of fame after being awarded the Babe Caccia award in 2016. Chris' passion for physical therapy began his junior year in high school when he was rehabilitating from a football injury. Physical therapy enabled Chris to return to playing the sports he loved quicker than expected. He has always enjoyed helping people and he realized that with physical therapy he can use this passion to allow people to return to the activities that they enjoy most. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University in 2019 and joined Rock and Armor soon after graduation. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife Kim and their two dogs. He also likes outdoor activities including: fishing, snowboarding, golfing, mountain biking, and camping.

David Mikell

David joins the Rock and Armor team as a Performance Coach and trainer. David Mikell was a talented two-way player at Natomos High School in Sacramento, California. As a tailback, he rushed for over 3,000 yards and scored 34 touchdowns, earning First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-Metro honors his senior season. He was recruited by Boise State University earning a full athletic scholarship to play safety. David played tailback and returned kickoffs during his playing career at Boise State. In 2002, David finished 8th in the WAC in rushing and 2nd in kickoff returns. In addition, David ranked 18th in the country in kickoff returns with a 25.3 yards per return average. David's best game was against Fresno State when he racked up 220 all-purpose yards. David was an extremely versatile player during his years at Boise State and was vital to the success of the program during those years. Following his playing career, David pursued his love of athletics and became a certified personal trainer for Parisi Speed School. During his time with Parisi, David was instrumental in the development of student-athletes from the elementary to the high school levels. Following his time with Parisi, David became a certified performance coach for Axiom Performance Center where he specialized in strength and condition for student athletes at the middle school and high school levels. David's experience is vast and his passion for working with young athletes reflects in their skills and character on and off the field. David and his wife, Carrie, have two daughters; Mia, Skylynn. As a family they enjoy attending softball and football games.

Kalin Ashby

Kalin Ashby is a Utah native who grew up in Orem. He attended Timpanogos High School where he played baseball for four years. After graduating high school, he went on to pursue higher education at Dixie State University before transferring to Utah Valley University to earn his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Hungry for more knowledge, Kalin applied and was accepted to Touro University Nevada where he graduated with his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2019. After graduation, Kalin worked for three years in outpatient orthopedics, seeing a variety of cases from post-operative to chronic pain in the Treasure Valley before coming over to the Rock and Armor team. Kalin has a deep passion for physical therapy and is excited to continue to learn and grow as part of our Meridian team. He is excited to have the chance to help people reclaim their lives and get back to being better than ever. When he is not practicing physical therapy, you can find him training for a powerlifting competition, hunting, fishing or playing with his two children Jace and Oakley

Katie Greer

Katie Greer was born and raised in Sammamish, Washington where she attended Skyline High school and played lacrosse for Issaquah Girls Lacrosse. She was recruited to play at Lindenwood University in St. Louis Missouri and was named an WCLA D2 All-American her junior year after transferring to play at Washington State University. Along the way, she served as the President of WSU Women's Lacrosse Club for 3 years and took the team to win multiple regional championships. Katie graduated from Washington State in 2018 with her BS in Kinesiology and minor in Strength and Conditioning. From there, she attended Pima Medical Institute in Seattle WA to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. Before moving to Boise, Katie was the Girls Program Director for Seattle Starz Lacrosse club and the head coach for Issaquah Varsity Girls lacrosse. She is passionate about growing the sport of lacrosse and will be getting involved with coaching and training in the Treasure Valley.

Kelly Potter

Kelly joins the Rock and Armor team as a Performance Coach and trainer. A four year varsity player, ECNL and Premier club player; she was recruited and rewarded a full college scholarship by the 2011 DII National Champions, The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. At Saint Rose her contributions led to a NCAA Div II National semifinal appearance, an NCAA DII East Regional title, an NE-10 Conference title and two regular season titles. After recovering from three ACL surgeries, she graduated from CSU Dominguez Hills with a Bachelors degree in Business and Sports Management. Her love of soccer and passion for young athletes lead her to coaching and from 2013-2017. She has enjoyed coaching and training all athletes of all levels and ages to help them get to the next level. Before moving to Boise in 2017, Kelly played Semi-professional soccer for LA Strikers FC. Currently, she is the women's soccer team strength and conditioning coach/assistant women's soccer coach at Northwest Nazarene University and an assistant girls soccer coach at Rush soccer club.

Kerry Davis

Kerry will greet you with a smile and is always happy to help. She is a lifelong athlete and spent 18 years as a civilian law enforcement professional. Growing up, Kerry was a gymnast and worked her way to a spot on the gymnastics team at Boise State. She has trained in martial arts , including Taekwondo, Judo, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and is currently a masters athlete in Weightlifting. Part of her work in law enforcement involved coaching physical fitness training for academy recruits and conducting agency wide wellness initiatives. Kerry has taught yoga for the past 2 years helping students improve their physical skills and get some purposeful rest. Kerry earned a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise and Sports Psychology from A.T. Still University in 2014. She is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher and a Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Kerry is completing a 400 hour mentorship in applied sports psychology. She plans to help athletes perform at their best through mental performance coaching. Kerry grew up in Michigan but has lived in Boise since 1995. She is a wife and mom to two boys Tyler and Toby. In her free time, Kerry loves coaching Weightlifting, baking, and all things related to travel.

Kylee Ross

Kylee is the first friendly face you will see when you enter our facility. Kylee joined the Rock and Armor team early September 2018. Kylee has always been told she has the biggest heart and will do anything to help Others. Her goals for the next few years are to attend BSU and to continue her fitness journey. Kylee was born in Boise, but raised in the small town of South Hill, Washington. She lived with her mom there and recently moved back to Boise to be closer to her dad. Kylee's passion for weight lifting happened just after graduating from Mountain View High School in 2016. She is always progressing and hopes to do competitions one day. When Kylee is not in the gym, she is either enjoying the beautiful mountains of Idaho, or at home with her significant other and her lovable pit-lab, Cooper.

Laura Williams

Laura graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, NE with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2009. Since then, she has gained extensive experience in treating a vast array of orthopedic conditions in addition to post-surgical rehabilitation. Laura enjoys working with patients to help them return to his or her normal activities. Laura loves balancing a few hours of clinic work with being a full-time mom to her 2 adorable girls with her husband, Tim.

Lauren Roberds

Plan on sharing a few good laughs with Lauren Roberds! Lauren joined Rock and Armor as a professional and friendly Front Office Manager in 2014. Lauren graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from ISU, and is currently pursuing her MBA in healthcare administration. She's a proven self-starter, with a flair for fun and a devotion to her work and studies. Lauren presents an exemplary attitude and genuine concern for clients. She takes pride in being available to answer any billing related questions and provides one on one advocacy between patients and their insurance. In her free time, you can find Lauren snuggling with her two rescues (Annie the Lab and her cat Bummer), reading a great new series, or quoting comedies and action movies on a whim. Lauren also enjoys camping, going to concerts, and writing poetry. Most importantly, she takes pride in giving clients top-level customer service and expertise, while remembering that sometimes the best therapy is a good joke or two.

Lauren Wuertz

Lauren's love for athletics dates back to her fond childhood memories of running the mile back in grade school in Westlake Village, CA. In 2009, Lauren moved to Idaho and attended The Ambrose School in Meridan focusing on the rigorous Classical Christian education that was offered there. After graduating high school magna cum laude, Lauren moved to San Diego, CA to attend Point Loma Nazarene University. She joined the D2 track team her sophomore year in hopes of finally chasing her passion for running. With hard work, dedication to the sport, and great coaching, Lauren became PLNU's top 200m and 400m sprinter during her time and helped her team achieve their highest ranking in the PacWest Conference championship scoring meet. Upon graduation from PLNU in 2019 with a BS in Business Management Entrepreneurship, Lauren moved back to the Treasure Valley to continue her track career at Northwest Nazarene University earning a full athletic scholarship. While also working full time and earning her Master's degree in Business Administration, Lauren became the runner-up in the 400m at the Great Northwest Athletic Conference track and field championship meet in 2021 and claims multiple all-time top ten records at NNU. She is just shy of the school record in the 200m and ranks #3 all-time in the 400m at NNU. Continuing her love for athletics, Lauren began coaching at Rock and Armor in Fall 2021. She obtained her USAW Sports Performance Coaching Certification in the winter of 2021-2022. From personal experience, Lauren understands the importance of showing up, pushing through hard workouts, and having a coach that believes in you. Lauren joined the Rock and Armor team hoping to give back the same vision of success through hard work that her coaches shared with her. Competitive by nature, Lauren joined the Boise Black Widows flag football team in April 2022 as the running back and was nicknamed "Cheat Code" or "Wheels". She helped the team place first in the Treasure Valley Women's Flag Football Bowl that took place in August 2022 and is a rushing and touchdown leader on the team. Besides playing flag football, in her free time, you can find Lauren outside: hiking with dogs, wake surfing, running, lifting, rock climbing, and chasing sunsets.

Logan Deroin

Logan was born and raised in Meridian, Idaho. He attended Mountain View High School where he excelled in both academics and football. After High School Logan accepted a football scholarship to Eastern Oregon University where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Logan went on to pursue his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Touro University in Henderson, Nevada. In an effort to advance his education and knowledge specific to sports medicine, Logan completed a Sports Residency through Evidence in motion in which he attended extensive continuing education courses and assisted with local high school athletes. Logan is excited to return to the Treasure Valley and pursue his career at Rock and Armor. He looks forward to serving the needs of his patients and helping them get back to doing what they love. In his free time, Logan enjoys hiking, fishing, playing sports, and spending time with his wife, Brittney and their son and daughter, Daxton and Scottie.

Lynsey Wagner

Lynsey graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Northern Arizona University in 2012. She then went on to complete an Orthopedic Residency, receiving mentorship from several distinguished clinicians across the Northwest. With continued education and experience, she also became a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2016. Lynsey works alongside her patients to identify the root cause of their injury, allowing them to be treated effectively and achieve their goals in a timely manner. She has extensive education and is highly skilled in manual therapy techniques, including the Fascial Distortion Model (FDM) and spinal manipulation. Lynsey also holds a certification in dry needling from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. Over the years, Lynsey has developed a special interest in women's health rehabilitation. She commonly treats conditions associated with pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum related issues, diastasis recti, and incontinence. By providing evidence-based treatments, Lynsey strives to help women feel empowered, stay active and remain healthy across their lifespan. Lynsey was raised in Boise and attended Capital High School. Lynsey and her husband, Jeff, have three children, Bennett, Beau and Brooklyn. When not at work, Lynsey enjoys being outdoors especially camping, hiking and gardening.

Marissa Panko

Marissa grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, where she attended Benet Academy High School. Following high school, she accepted a softball scholarship at Northwestern University where she earned a B.A. in biology with a concentration in physiology and cell bio, with a minor in psychology. Between undergrad and grad school, Marissa worked as a research assistant through Northwestern's physical therapy department in a study developed to test how exercise affected pain in older adults. She then went on to pursue her doctorate degree in physical therapy from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. Marissa was first introduced to Rock and Armor on one of her clinical rotations. She fell in love with the Boise area and the Rock and Armor family, and soon decided to start her career in this location. When Marissa is not working, she enjoys outdoor activities, playing sports, providing service to her community, touring around to her favorite restaurants, and traveling. .

Nate Lundberg

Nate Lundberg was born and raised in Woodinville, Washington where he attended Cedar Park Christian High school. His senior year, he earned all-conference honors and went to state in 3 different varsity sports. Nate was introduced to the Treasure Valley when he attended Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. He earned his BS in Biology - Pre-physical therapy and graduated Summa Cum Laude in the top 5% of his class from NNU prior to PT school in Spokane, Washington at Eastern Washington University. Nate is currently a sports medicine physical therapy resident through Evidence in Motion where he treats and assists local high school athletes, completes didactic work, and attends sports-specific laboratory skills development courses. Nate is thrilled to be back in the Treasure Valley pursuing his dream at Rock and Armor treating athletes of all ages and various orthopedic conditions. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing almost all sports, hiking, cheering on Seattle sports teams, and spending time outside.

Rosemary Coldsnow

Rosemary received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Eastern Washington University after completing a bachelor's degree at University of Idaho. She has since gained professional experience treating a wide variety of patient populations, but has a special interest in both orthopedics and pelvic health. Rosemary has continued her education in pelvic rehabilitation through the American Physical Therapy Association, and plans to further expand and stay up to date on her skills and knowledge via continued coursework and practical application. Rosemary's commitment to PT began after witnessing its positive impact on her loved ones and developing a personal love for health and fitness. As a clinician, she loves getting to know her patients on an individual basis, and makes it her goal to treat everyone with a holistic, evidence-based approach. Rosemary is originally from Moscow, ID. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, lifting, spending time with her friends and family, and getting outside. You can also find her trying out Boise area restaurants or staying in with a good movie, game, or book.

Tim Williams - Founder

Tim earned his B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln in 2005 and followed with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Creighton University in 2009. After school, Tim served on physical therapy mission trips in the Dominican Republic and Peru. Tim became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2011. He completed a one year sports physical therapy residence program with St. Luke's-Elks in 2012 which included providing therapy to the Idaho Steelheads, Idaho Stampede, Bishop Kelly High School, and doing research at Boise State University. Tim is one of a handful of physical therapists in the state of Idaho to possess a Sports Certified Specialty certification (SCS) which he earned in 2013. Tim graduated from Laramie High School (WY) in 2001 where he was a four-time individual state champion in track and field and cross country, as well as class valedictorian. He was also a four-year letter winner for the Husker track and field and cross country teams where he is still on several top 10 all-time performance lists. Tim enjoys sports/orthopedic physical therapy and training high level track athletes. Tim uses his past experience on the oval and knowledge of exercise science and biomechanics to help runners achieve their goals through strength and aerobic training, running mechanics and injury prevention. Tim has been privileged to work with several sub 4-minute milers, high school and collegiate All-Americans, and Olympic medalists over the years. Tim and his wife, Laura, have two daughters. When not at work, Tim enjoys outdoor activities, working out, being active in his church and spending time with his family.
