Virtual Commissioning was founded in 2007, by Mark Walter and Alex Walter. Both had worked for a large national commissioning firm prior to starting VirtualCx... Virtual Commissioning is a full-time, independent third-party commissioning firm. With over 40 years of experience, we've worked in thousands of buildings. Along the way, our team has commissioned or retro-commissioned hundreds of projects - ranging in size up to three (3) million square feet. Project commissioning values have ranged from as low as $1500 to over $3,000,000... We coined the term "Virtual Commissioning," and even have it as our actual name. Other firms have started using our terminology, but we're the originals.
