Charlie Rampton

Job Titles:

Charlie previously worked with children and young people with special educational needs for 9 years before moving to work with a Berkshire Safeguarding team. Whilst there she started studying to become a Therapeutic Counsellor. Since qualifying as an Integrative Counsellor in 2021, Charlie has been working therapeutically with people needing support with trauma. In her spare time Charlie enjoys reading books and spending time with her dog who enjoys long walks in the countryside and swimming in ponds and lakes that he shouldn't.

David Guile

Job Titles:

David has enjoyed over 30 years in the hospitality sector and now runs his own Leadership Coaching business as well as holding various Non Executive Director roles. His involvement with Daisy Dream spans over 18 years having been a service user, trustee, Vice Chair and fundraiser. David is delighted to have rejoined the Trustee Board in 2018 and looks forward to supporting the charity in the years ahead.

David Wood

Job Titles:

David is an EY Partner, who he has worked with for over 20 years supporting clients with their Global Mobility programmes (helping organisations move talent around the world). His association with Daisy's Dream spans a similar time period, having started as a fundraiser climbing Kilimanjaro in 2003 and then running the London marathon on a couple of occasions, most recently in 2023. Having suffered childhood bereavement David has a strong affinity to the purpose of Daisy's Dream. David's "spare" time is spent as taxi driver/ supporter to his dance daughter or coaching his eldest daughter's football team. The remainder of time is spent walking his dog's with his wife.

Debbie Mumford

Debbie's background is in operations, sales and marketing spanning 38 years with a very well known global commercial company.

Glynis Wiltshire

Glynis is a Registered Nurse with a passion for safeguarding, quality and supporting a positive culture in the workplace. Her most recent role as Head of Safeguarding and Freedom to Speak Up Guardian ( whistleblowing) for a large provider of NHS funded services supported the organisation to meet its statutory and professional responsibilities for safeguarding and for children in care. This included the implementation of processes which demonstrate support for children who have had adverse childhood experiences, which included bereavement. Glynis is excited to have the opportunity to be a trustee with Daisy's Dream to support them in the meaningful work they undertake

Julie Campbell

Julie ‘s background is that she has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry for the last 40 years with the last 10 years in Human Resources roles as she has a real passion for people. Julie is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personal and Development. She joined the Daisy's Dream Trustee board in 2023 and is delighted to be able to support this amazing charity that has such a huge impact on families lives. Julie lives in Berkshire and in her spare time she likes walking and ushering at her local theatre.

Julie Stolland

Julie's background is in social care and she has worked within a range of different statutory and voluntary settings for 20+ years. Julie currently works within the charitable sector and specialises in therapeutic services for children, young people and parents who need support. Julie has just joined as a new Trustee for Daisy's Dream and feels extremely honoured to be able to be a part of such an innovative and crucially important agency. In her spare time Julie enjoys spending time with her family and friends and being in the great outdoors whenever possible.

Kate Green

  • Business Development and Partnerships Manager
Kate is an experienced business development and partnerships manager, with extensive experience in Further and Higher Education. She now works at the University of Reading, where her main focus is on identifying and developing opportunities for multi-disciplinary collaboration in the areas of food, nutrition and health. Kate has lived in Reading for over 20 years and first became aware of Daisy's Dream when her children were at primary school. Kate is very pleased to join the committed team of staff, volunteers and trustees at Daisy's Dream and is looking forward to contributing to the continued growth of such an important support service.

Laura Lewis - CEO

Laura joined Daisy's Dream in the summer of 2022 and is committed to ensuring that Daisy's Dream provides a wide range of help and guidance to as many families and professionals as possible. Having experienced the sudden death of her own father as a teenager, she is keen that our charity is able to be responsive and reassuring to children and young people during some of the toughest of times.  Laura brings with her a wealth of knowledge of both working with young people and charity leadership, having spent 18 years working across a range of settings and roles, including other voluntary organisations, schools and children's services. As CEO her job is to make sure that the charity can keep providing quality support whilst identifying opportunities to enhance what we can do.

Laura Peters

Laura works in education and is currently an Assistant Principal at a college just outside of Maidenhead. She has a background in Special Education Needs and worked in social care before moving into education in 2016. From working in education and social care Laura is acutely aware of the need for organisations like Daisy's Dream for young people and families to manage the most challenging times in their lives. Laura is delighted to be part of the Daisy's Dream Team and hopes she can support them to continue to grow and reach as many families and young people as possible.

Porscha Davies

Porscha's background is in HR and, for the past 15 years, she has worked as an HR Consultant within a diverse range of industry sectors and global organisations. Porscha is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and splits her time between Berkshire and the Isle of Man. Having been involved with Daisy's Dream as a service volunteer since 2000, Porscha joined the Trustee Board in 2016. Porscha is honoured to be a Trustee and grateful for the opportunity to help support the great work Daisy's Dream has achieved to date. In her spare time Porscha works as an Outdoor Fitness Instructor.

Steve Bennett

Terry Murphy

Job Titles:

Terry is an interim management consultant currently working with an NHS Trust dealing with strategic property and asset management and capital projects. He was a director of NHS Estates for a number of years and worked as a civil servant at the Department of Health. Terry has lived in Wokingham for more than 30 years and been actively involved in charity work and as a governor of a local school during this time. Working in healthcare Terry is aware of the need for the pre and post bereavement services offered by Daisy's Dream and how this plays such an important role in moving forward from traumatic events for young people. The need for this service and the work involved in ensuring Daisy's Dream can provide the funding for these activities is stimulating and enjoyable work knowing how well these services are valued by the local community. It is a rewarding experience as a Trustee supporting the work of Daisy's Dream and helping the charity to continue to grow its services in this vital area.
