Ben trained as an accountant with an independent firm of accountants and taxation advisers. Whilst there he qualified as a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and gained vast experience in financial reporting and tax planning. In 2014 Ben moved to FC to work in corporate finance where he qualified as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2017. On his journey with FC, he has gained a wide range of corporate finance skills that complements his knowledge of financial management including business planning, financial modelling and cash flow management. Having managed several outsourced finance departments including holding a temporary position as group financial controller of a large technology group, Ben can advise on a range of financial matters. He is also the company secretary for a number of companies.

Iain is the senior partner in FC Business Support. Iain graduated from Glasgow University in 1985 with a first class honours degree in tax law. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1989, having trained with one of the world's largest accountancy firms, and went on to work for another international accountancy firm and also spent a number of years in industry working both as a finance director and managing director. In 1998, Iain formed an accountancy partnership with a former colleague he had trained with, and since then he has been practising as a chartered accountant in his own firms. Iain has served as a director of many companies, including several venture capital-backed businesses. He has extensive knowledge and business experience internationally, including in Europe and the Middle East and is also a student mentor on the acclaimed Alliance Manchester Business School MBA programme.
Nick trained and qualified as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2015 with an independent firm of accountants. He subsequently left to join the audit team of a top 20 national accountancy firm. Nick has recently moved to FC Group to work in corporate finance, as well as provide business support to SME's. He comes with a variety of experience working with owner managed SME's from leading Audits.
