Abbie Brookes

Ab bie brings to us a wealth of experience in hospitality, having worked as a Pub Supervisor for six years and a ski season in France. We are confident her in-depth knowledge will make the transition to her role as a Rec ruit ment Consult ant a smooth one. She was drawn to recruitment due to the dynamic environment and variety of opportunities it offered. Ab bie is motivated and dedicated, and with the support of Rec ruit ment Consult ant Richard Price, she will focus on helping to fill permanent chef and managerial positions in the hospitality and catering sector.

Connor Talbot

Connor has recently joined the KSB Family; his background is made up of various positions within the Hospitality sector which has provided him with a fantastic base knowledge of our industry. This knowledge teamed with his brilliant work ethic and determination has seen him succeed with KSB Recruitment. His biggest success so far is supporting one of our clients with the opening of their flagship hotel and supplying both front-of-house and chefs at a crucial time. As well as excelling in his role Connor is a doting father to a little boy who is adored in the office. When he is not supporting his clients or is off dad duty you will find him socialising with his partner and friends

Dawn Bannister - Managing Director

Dawn has over 30 years recruitment experience recruiting for the likes of; Sainsbury's plc, Holiday Inn, Barclaycard, Carlsberg, ISS, Royal Mail, West Midlands Police and the NEC - to name a few. She also proudly oversaw the company's successful Investors in People accreditation in 1999 - something we've held ever since and has recently been selected to attend the prestigious programme run by Aston University's Business Growth Programme.

Ellie Bryant

  • Office Manager - Accounts & HR
Ellie joined KSB from the Banking Sector which has provided her with a wealth of knowledge in Business Finance. As well as working full time in the office, Ellie is completing her CIPD qualification to become a recognised People Professional. She is fundamental in the day to day running of the company and is a key supporter to the team as well as our fantastic Candidates and Clients. We like to call her the glue that holds the office together.

Jon Bannister - COO

Job Titles:
  • Operations Director
Jon has over 15 years experience. His background includes all aspects of hospitality and catering - most recently as a highly qualified and experienced chef. Our clients and candidates love that he ‘gets it,' as someone who has years and years of industry experience.

Lauren Miller

Job Titles:
  • Account Manager - Contracts
Lauren joined KSB in November 2021 and moved from Manchester. She has a good few years of recruitment experience under her belt having previously worked in a different sector providing temps for the commercial sector. We feel Lauren will add a great dynamic to the team as she can provide ideas and strategies from another sector that could support our way of thinking and the way we look after our clients and candidates. A fun fact about Lauren: She is an Orange Belt Kickboxer and in her spare time is a Kylie Minogue tribute act!

Mr Richard Price

Job Titles:
  • Consultant - Permanent Division
Richard joined the team in October 2020 after leaving his previous employer of over 20 years. Prior to joining KSB, Richard worked for a large Catering Firm as an internal recruiter. As well as previously recruiting for the same talent he also started his career in the industry which has provided him with years of experience to support him. He has managed to successfully take over the reins of the Permanent Division and works closely with his Clients and Candidates to find the perfect match.

Tracey Howell

Tracey joined KSB in September 2021 to initially provide admin support but we loved her that much we took her on as a permanent member of staff in January. Tracey isn't new to recruitment either, having worked in the industry for over 13 years. Starting at a big international company and then moving onto to a smaller, boutique business, Tracey has a good range of experience and says she loves recruitment because of it's fast paced nature. Her attention to detail and organisation skills are second to none, so we are really happy she has joined our team. An Interesting Fact About Tracey: She was once filmed for a feature on a local TV station about the fanzine magazine she used to run.
