Chris is Senior Lecturer in Paediatric Dentistry and the Director of Research at the School of Dental Sciences, Newcastle University, UK. He also acts as an Honorary Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry for Newcastle upon Tyne Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Chris' research interests focus in the area of health economics of oral health and he works at the policy-academic interface applying this knowledge. In addition, Chris is committed to developing research and academic careers in dentistry and contributes to this work through the National Institute of Health Research as well as at his own institution.
His clinical work in paediatric dentistry means that he sees the impacts of a decay on a regular basis, and this has only strengthened his resolve towards the goals of ACFF.

Marco graduated from the Rennes Dental School in 2016 and is currently working with the ACFF as he completes his PhD at King's College London. His studies focus on the economic evaluation of caries control programmes in the field of dentistry.
Marco is involved in several international dental organisations and was the 2014/15 President of the European Dental Students' Association.
Marco has worked within a number of organisations including with the Council of European Dentists, Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE) and the FDI World Dental Federation. He also participates in the French Dental Association international representation.

Nick joined the ACFF in 2021 after previously managing events and operations for small and medium youth charities for five years.
As Global Manager, Nick coordinates the charity's global operations and network of volunteer Chapters. He is also responsible for the charity's financial operations, governance requirements and partnerships operations and works closely with the Board of Trustees and Chairman to ensure that the ACFF is also striving to fulfil its goals.

Stefania Martignon is a Professor, Chair of UNICA - Caries Research Unit and Chair of the Master Program in Dental Sciences, Dental Faculty, Universidad El Bosque, Bogotá, Colombia. Professor Martignon obtained her PhD from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark (2005), and specializes in Paediatric Dentistry and University Teaching.
She has served as a consultant to the Colombian Ministry of Health and served as member of the IADR Cariology Research Group board. Currently, Professor Martignon is an advisory council to the European Organisation for Caries Research (ORCA) Board, President of IADR Colombia, member of the ICDAS Core Group, and Co-Chair of the Colombian Chapter of the Alliance for a Cavity-Free Future (ACFF) as well as a member of the ACFF Global Expert Panel.
