Am Bavariapark 14 D-80339 München
The Alte Kongresshalle is part of the former exhibition centre at Theresienhöhe. The largest hall of its kind at the time, it was designed in 1952/53 in retro-futurist style by architects Etzold, Strobl und Freymuth and was used as an event centre by the Munich exhibition organization Messe München until 1998. From 1998 until 2004, when the building was taken over by the Edith-Haberland-Wagner Stiftung, it served as temporary premises for Bauzentrum München (Munich Construction Agency)...
The main hall of the Alte Kongresshalle offers a space for concerts, conferences and congresses. The mezzanine gallery and hall gallery create the perfect atmosphere for smaller private or business events, while the stunning entrance foyer is a prestigious setting for gala evenings, premieres or receptions.
