Kwazi is a Technologist at ALT Advisory and a public interest developer, designer, and IT support provider. Kwazi is a Technologist at ALT Advisory. He holds a certificate in Desktop Publishing and Design (Vega, 2019) and a Higher Certificate in Management (Southern Business School, 2020). Kwazi works on web development and graphic and digital design to compliment ALT Advisory's ongoing work and special projects. He is also constantly developing ALT Advisory's communications strategy. Kwazi is presently focusing on developing his expertise in HTML, CSS and JavaScript front-end web development and learning more about the intersection of tech development and the right to privacy. Michael is an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and a Director and Co-founder of ALT Advisory. He holds B.A., LL.B. (with Distinction), and LL.M. in Public International Law (with Distinction) degrees from the University of Witwatersrand, and a Certificate in International Trade Regulation from the World Trade Institute, University of Bern. Michael is also an Executive M.B.A. candidate at the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town.

Murray is a Senior Associate at ALT Advisory and a public interest researcher and communicator. Murray Hunter is a specialist on digital rights, advocacy and communications. Before joining ALT Advisory, he held various advocacy and leadership roles at the Right2Know Campaign (2010-2012; 2014-2019), Open Secrets (2012-2013), and the amaBhungane Centre for Investigative Journalism (2020). He has also given media consulting to a range of civil society initiatives, most recently the South Africa Media Innovation Program. Murray has authored investigative reports and publications on communications surveillance and data protection, and in 2019 published a children's book about surveillance capitalism. He received a Bertha Activist Fellowship in 2014, and the Ruth First Fellowship in 2021.
