The CARE Project is a registered Michigan Nonprofit Corporation operating under Suits for Soldiers, Inc.'s 501(c)(3)... The Canine Aides for Reintegration and Emotional Support Project provides canine aides to Combat Veterans, First Responders, and victims of violence and abuse. This service is free to qualifying individuals. The CARE Project also offers group dog training as well as private dog training classes to the general community at an affordable rate. Proceeds from these classes go toward supporting the Canine Aide program... At The CARE Project, we use the term "canine aide" to refer to dogs trained to provide various types of assistance to their handler. Some provide emotional support, some perform service tasks related to PTSD, and others perform service tasks related to physical disabilities.
