- Professor of Nutritional Sciences
Dr. Besong is a Professor of Nutritional Sciences with expertise in molecular biology and lipid chemistry. He has more than 15 years of experience in teaching and conducting research that focuses on screening and evaluation of tropical/medicinal plants for their potential health benefits and therapeutic uses. Dr. Besong served as the Director of the Center for biotechnology and Genomics at Alcorn State University in Mississippi (2001-2005) and is currently serving as the Chairperson of the Department of Human Ecology and the Director of Graduate Program in Food Science and Biotechnology at Delaware State University.
Mr. Nkengfack received his BA in Liberal Arts in Berea College, KY. He obtained a BA in Political Science and an MA in International Affairs at Eastern Kentucky University, KY. He has extensive experiences in international business and consulting. He has worked in Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Nigeria, Benin, Senegal and Cameroon. Gabriel worked in Washington DC with AARP, the biggest Non- Profit Organization in the US for well over thirteen years as a procurement and contract specialist
