John Pollak was born in Pyskowice/Poland in 1968. He immigrated to Germany in the year 1975 and lived in Mainz, till he moved to New York 2002. Since 2005 he lives and works in Berlin.
Besides his profession as a physician and scientist John Pollak is devoting himself to photography. Architectural, nearly abstract subjects are interesting him as well as people in the streets of big cities. During his time in New York John Pollak got the chance to exhibit in connection with three different Off-Broadway theatre productions.
