The HOSTA world of chocolates and sweets is hallmarked by its diversity and a multitude of success stories. For over 70 years we have been manufacturing sweets in high brand quality. A lot of things have changed since our company was founded. The most important thing, however, is unchanged: our obligation towards our customers and partners to ensure high quality and delicious sweet specialties day by day! HOSTA is traditional, sophisticated - and always up to date... In 1949 HOSTA was founded by Hermann Opferkuch senior. His first top seller were orange drops which were manufactured with machines ordinarily used by the pharmaceutical industry or tablet production. They were packed into a rucksack and delivered by a motorcyclist.
