Founded in 2010, the International Diving Safety Standards Commission (IDSSC) is dedicated to supporting the implementation of national and international diving standards and regulations. Currently, its headquarters are located in Argentina... The IDSSC is dedicated to supporting, proposing supplementation and recommending the application of diving standards and regulations created by the world's best organizations and adopted by different international companies. In many cases, the commission has added criteria necessary to adapt the standards to more demanding diving conditions according to the reality of certain regions... IDSSC is a worldwide membership organization restricted to individuals, dive schools, companies and diver training agencies that accept the most modern and comprehensive dive standards and procedures recommended by IDSSC.
