We are an Excavating General Contractor providing quality service to our customers. We target primarily commercial and public projects, and projects that present difficult and unusual challenges. We provide our high quality services to the Wasatch Front and surrounding areas including Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho. We are dedicated to working with our customers to implement solutions that meet their needs... Jones Excavating has been in business for over 70 years, reaching all the way back to when Jones was founded in 1946 by Paul and Laurel Jones. Paul and Laurel Jones raised a family of 7 children using a Cat, Dump Truck and Linkbelt cable backhoe. All of Paul's kids participated with the business one way or another from the time they were very young until they were out of school. Today Jones Excavating has grown to 100 employees and continues to grow.
