Krishna foundation was set up in 2001, as a non-profit organization and was registered under societies Registration Act of XXI of 1860, with the pioneering efforts of Dr.S.K.Tiwari and few Medical professionals and other dedicated social workers/professionals who had a common philosophy. It has undertaken various Healthcare, Skill development/vocational training programmes,Women welfare augmentation/empowerment programmes with the contributions provided by the members of Society and some programs have been undertaken in collaboration with Delhi Health Services, Government of NCT of Delhi (Mobile Health Clinic), National Aids Control Organization and Delhi State Aids Control Society (Target intervention as per NACP-III Guidelines with specific HIGH RISK GROUP of Injecting Drug Users of East Delhi, Patparganj and adjoining area's), Directorate of Education, Govt.
