Adrian V. Mitchell - CFO

Adrian V. Mitchell joined Macy's, Inc. in November 2020 as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Mitchell is responsible for leading all finance functions including, accounting, treasury, investor relations, internal audit, financial/capital planning & analysis, and procurement. Prior to joining Macy's, Inc. Mitchell was Managing Director and Partner in the Digital BCG and Consumer Practices of Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Prior to this, Mitchell had wide-ranging retail experiences. This includes serving as Board Director and member of the Audit and Finance Committee at Recreational Equipment, Inc. from 2016 to 2017. He served as chief executive officer of Arhaus LLC, a home furnishings retailer from 2016 to 2017. Mitchell joined Crate and Barrel in 2010 as chief financial officer. In 2011, he took on the additional responsibilities of chief operating officer and from 2014-2015 he also concurrently served as interim CEO. He held management positions at Target Corporation from 2007 to 2010 including director of strategy & interactive design for target.com and director of innovation & productivity leading enterprise-wide projects for Target Corporation. Mitchell began his career and spent approximately 10 years at McKinsey & Company, Inc. where he co-founded the NA Lean Operations Retail Practice. Mitchell has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University and an MBA from Harvard University.

Ashley Buchanan - CEO

Buchanan serves as CEO and as a member of the Board of The Michaels Companies, roles he has held since January 2020. Prior to Michaels, he served in various roles of increased leadership and responsibility at Walmart for nearly 11 years, culminating in his position as chief merchandising and chief operating officer for its U.S. eCommerce business. During his time at Walmart, Buchanan also served as chief merchant at Sam's Club where he led a merchandising team and oversaw activities including assortment, private brand strategy, pricing, global sourcing, packaging, replenishment and supply chain. Earlier in his career, he spent three years at Dell where he held a variety of positions in finance, after spending five years at Accenture focused on the retail industry. Buchanan also serves as a Director at Tree House Foods. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and real estate as well as a Master of Business Administration from Baylor University.

Bobby Amirshahi

Bobby Amirshahi joined Macy's, Inc. in December 2020 as senior vice president of corporate communications. In this role, Amirshahi leads enterprise-wide communications for the company, including crisis and issues management, media relations, colleague communications, financial communications, corporate giving and thought leadership. Prior to Macy's, Amirshahi served as senior vice president of corporate communications for Univision Communications Inc. where he led all external and internal corporate communications for the company, including all business-to-business public relations campaigns. Previously, he served as vice president of public relations and communications at Time Warner Cable Inc. where he led communications teams charged with publicizing consumer and business products as well as financial communications and issues management. Before joining TWC, Amirshahi was senior director of public affairs at Cox Enterprises Inc. Amirshahi began his career working in various public relations and corporate communications roles at Cox's cable subsidiary, Cox Communications. Amirshahi also led all of West Coast publicity for Viacom's Comedy Central and Spike TV brands out of Los Angeles. Amirshahi earned a bachelor's in History from The College of William & Mary in Virginia.

Danielle Kirgan

Danielle Kirgan was appointed chief transformation officer in March 2020. As such, she is responsible for the Company's transformation program, strategy, and human resources. She joined Macy's, Inc in October 2017 in the role of chief human resources officer. Previously, Kirgan was senior vice president/people at American Airlines since October 2016. In that role, she was responsible for all global human resource functions for the airline, including talent acquisition, training and talent development, compensation, benefits and diversity. Prior to joining American Airlines, Kirgan held various leadership positions at Darden Restaurants, where she most recently served as chief human resources officer. From February 2009 until her retirement in February 2015 she was president of North American Pharmaceuticals of GlaxoSmithKline, a global pharmaceutical company. Before that, she was president of U.S. Operations of Eli Lilly and Company from June 2005 to January 2009. Connelly also served as the senior vice president of Human Resources of Eli Lilly and Company from October 2004 to June 2005. From 2003 to October 2004 she was the executive director, Human Resources of U.S. Operations of Eli Lilly and Company. She has also been Leader of Women's Health Business - U.S. Operations of Eli Lilly and Company from 2001 to 2003.

Dennis Mullahy

Mullahy joined Macy's, Inc. in 2019 as chief supply chain officer. In this newly created role, Mullahy will oversee the entire product journey, including global sourcing, inventory management, store and ecommerce distribution, transportation, indirect procurement, supply chain systems, sustainability and supplier diversity. Mullahy has more than 30 years of experience leading operation units in the retail industry. In his most recent role as executive vice president, supply chain and IT at Michaels Stores, Inc., Mullahy was responsible for leading the company's supply chain strategy, international transportation, distribution center operations for stores and ecommerce, information technology and custom frame manufacturing. Prior to joining Michaels Stores, Inc. in 2013, Mullahy was a senior vice president at Ulta, where he was responsible for merchandise planning, inventory management, distribution, logistics, transportation and supply chain strategy. He previously spent more than 15 years in leadership roles at Meijer and as a partner with Accenture. Mullahy holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from The Ohio State University.

Blake served as chairman of The Home Depot, Inc. from January 2007 until his retirement in February 2015, as chief executive officer of The Home Depot, Inc. from January 2007 to November 2014, and as vice chairman of The Home Depot, Inc. from October 2006 to January 2007. From 2002 to January 2007, Blake also held the position of executive vice president - Business Development and Corporate Operations of The Home Depot, Inc. In this position, Blake was responsible for the company's real estate, store construction, credit services, strategic business development, growth initiatives, and international and home services businesses. Prior to his affiliation with The Home Depot, Blake served in a variety of executive positions at General Electric Company from 1992 to May 2001, including as senior vice president, Corporate Business Development in charge of all worldwide mergers, acquisitions and dispositions and identification of strategic growth opportunities. Jeff Gennette - CEO, Chairman

Jeff Gennette was elected chief executive officer of Macy's, Inc. in March 2017 and assumed the role of chairman in February 2018. Gennette previously held the role of president of Macy's, Inc. from 2014 through August 2017. Prior to that, he was the chief merchandising officer of Macy's, Inc., a position to which he was appointed in February 2009. Gennette began his retail career in 1983 as an executive trainee at Macy's West in San Francisco. He held positions of increasing responsibility, including vice president and division merchandise manager for men's collections, and senior vice president and general merchandise manager for men's and children's. In 2004, Gennette was appointed executive vice president and director of stores at Macy's Central in Atlanta. During his career, he also served as a store manager for FAO Schwarz and director of stores for Broadway Stores, Inc. From February 2006 to February 2008, Gennette served as chairman and chief executive officer of Seattle-based Macy's Northwest. Gennette returned to San Francisco from February 2008 to February 2009 as chairman and CEO of Macy's West. Gennette was appointed to the Partnership For New York City Board & Executive Committee in December 2016. In January 2018, Gennette joined the National Retail Federation Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Laura Miller - CIO

Laura Miller was named chief information officer of Macy's, Inc. in March 2021. In this role, she is responsible for the company's information technology platforms and teams including the company's data and analytics center of excellence. Previously, she served as global chief information officer of IHG since February 2018. In that role she was responsible for strategy, delivery, operations and security for more than 5,900 hotels in over 100 countries. She delivered several organization-wide transformational changes including implementation of a new central reservation system that is delivering increased revenue and lower operational costs. Prior to that role, Miller served as senior vice president at First Data Corporation (FDC), a highly regulated global payments processing leader that serves more than six million merchant locations, thousands of card issuers and millions of consumers. Previously, she was a member of the technology mergers & acquisitions team at TD Ameritrade. In addition, she has served in other senior leadership capacities at The Patent and Trademark Office, The Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County, Maryland and British Aerospace, PLC. She serves on the boards of LGI Homes (LGIH), an industry-leading residential home design, construction, sales and marketing business, and of EVO Payments (EVOP), a global merchant acquirer and payment processor. Miller holds a master's in computer systems management from the University of Maryland.

Leslie D. Hale

Hale has served as president and chief executive officer of RLJ Lodging Trust, a publicly traded lodging real estate investment trust, since August 2018. From August 2016 to August 2018 she was executive vice president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer and from February 2013 to July 2016 she was the chief financial officer, treasurer, and executive vice president of RLJ Lodging Trust. Before that, Hale was the chief financial officer, treasurer, and senior vice president of RLJ Lodging Trust from May 2011 through January 2013. She has also held the title of chief financial officer and senior vice president of Real Estate and Finance of RLJ Development from September 2007 until the formation of RLJ Lodging Trust in 2011. Marc Mastronardi

Marc Mastronardi was appointed chief stores officer in 2020. Prior to this role, Mastronardi was Macy's senior vice president of store operations and customer experience. In this role since March 2019, Mastronardi led enterprise-wide store operations, selling, and customer service teams. Prior to this appointment, Mastronardi was executive vice president of business development, leading multiple functions in the creation and expansion of new business concepts, leased partnerships, diverse owner lead businesses and the restaurant organization within Macy's across the nation. Mastronardi previously served as EVP/general merchandise manager, with responsibilities for the center core categories. For more than 20 years, he has held a broad range of leadership responsibilities at Macy's, including men's apparel, women's apparel and accessories, and children's clothing. Prior to Macy's, Mastronardi held various merchant roles for May Department stores in Boston. Mastronardi serves on the board of Delivering Good, NYC and serves as board president on the executive committee of the Fashion Scholarship Fund. He is also the executive sponsor of the Macy's Working Families Employee Resource Group. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from Boston College.

Marie Chandoha

Marie Chandoha brings more than 35 years in financial services and investment management. Most recently, she led Charles Schwab Investment Management's product and technology transformation, building a high-performing organization and doubling the firm's assets under management. She previously served as president and CEO of Charles Schwab Investment Management, Inc., the investment management subsidiary of Charles Schwab Corporation, from 2010 until her retirement in 2019. Prior to that, Chandoha served as Global Head of Fixed Income Business at Barclay's Global Investors, leading the global bond business comprising index, institutional active, ETF, and alternatives products, until its sale to BlackRock in 2009. She then remained at BlackRock until 2019 as Managing Director and Global Head of Fixed Income Portfolio Management. Chandoha also served as Co-Head and Senior Portfolio Manager of the Montgomery Fixed Income Division of Wells Fargo. Before entering asset management, Chandoha held other roles in financial services, including leading the global fixed income and economics research team at Credit Suisse and as a senior bond strategist at Goldman Sachs. She currently serves as a director at State Street, where she serves on the Examining and Audit and Technology and Operations Committees. Chandoha is also vice chair of the California chapter of the Nature Conservancy and previously served as member of the Board of Governors and Executive Committee of the Investment Company Institute. She received a B.A. degree in economics from Harvard University.

Matt Baer

As chief digital and customer officer, Matt Baer is responsible for the growth and strategic long-term vision of Macy's digital business with a focus on creating a deeper relationship with our customers. Prior to joining Macy's in March 2020, Baer was vice president of eCommerce at Walmart.com, where he had P&L responsibility and oversaw digital experience, marketing, and business strategy. Before joining Walmart, he founded a digital marketplace, held executive positions at two retail startups, and practiced complex commercial litigation. Earlier in his career, Baer worked across all functions of a family retail business. Baer holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University.

Nata Dvir

Nata Dvir was appointed Macy's chief merchandising officer in February 2021. In September 2017, Dvir was named Macy's General Business Manager for Beauty, a new role in the organization. In that role, she transformed the cosmetics and fragrance business, creating a more open and experiential environment in store, enhancing entertainment and customer experiences, taking a fresh approach to digital engagement and expanding new brands. In February 2020, Dvir added responsibility for Center Core merchandise, including jewelry, handbags, shoes, intimate apparel and accessories. Richard A. Lennox

Prior to joining Macy's in September 2016., Lennox served as senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Toys "R" Us since 2014, with responsibility for all components of marketing strategy for the company's portfolio of brands. This included leading the development of brand strategy and optimizing the company's marketing and digital presence to drive sales growth and customer loyalty. For the five years prior to Toys "R" Us, Lennox was executive vice president/chief marketing and e-commerce officer at Zales Corporation, where he was instrumental in the development of the company's strategic business plan and marketing approach across channels. From 1992 to 2009, Lennox was a senior-level executive and strategist at J. Walter Thompson, where he led the De Beers Group, overseeing all operations for its U.S. marketing function, as well as new product and business development. Lennox served as JWT's executive vice president/U.S. marketing director for De Beers. Prior to this, Spring served as president and chief operating officer of Bloomingdale's since 2008 with responsibility for Bloomingdale's stores, marketing, creative services, finance, operations, and restaurants. In 2004, Spring was named senior executive vice president responsible for marketing, Bloomingdale's Direct and restaurants. In 1998, Spring was promoted to executive vice president for marketing. Spring began his Bloomingdale's career in 1987 as an executive trainee in the White Plains, NY, store and over the next eight years, he assumed positions of increasing responsibility in the home furnishings area before being promoted to senior vice president for home furnishings. Spring serves as the board chair for the National Retail Federation Foundation (NRFF) in addition to serving the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and the Hospital for Special Surgery Advisory Boards. Spring holds a bachelor's degree from Cornell University.

She has nearly two decades of experience in the consumer technology industry, including senior management roles at TripAdvisor and Expedia overseeing business strategy, finance, operations, product development and marketing. At TripAdvisor, she held numerous general management roles including as Vice President of Housetrip, a European vacation rental brand, Vice President of Vacation Rental Supply and Vice President and General Manager of FlipKey, an online vacation rental marketplace. Prior to that, Zhen spent five years at Expedia including as General Manager of emerging markets and strategy, leading international business growth in Europe and strategic partnerships, as well as Finance Director. She serves as Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Mass Technology Leadership Council and on the Advisory Board of the Taubman Center at the Harvard Kennedy School. Specifically, Lenehan has relevant experience in monetizing real estate held by operating companies. He has held the title of president and chief executive officer of Four Corners Property Trust, Inc., a real estate investment trust, since August 2015. From June 2012 to 2014 he was special advisor to the board of directors of EVOQ Properties, Inc., an owner of a substantial portfolio of development assets in downtown Los Angeles, California. Lenehan was also interim chief executive officer of MI Developments, Inc. (now known as Granite Real Estate Investment Trust), a real estate operating company with a global net lease portfolio, from June 2011 to December 2011. Before that, he was an investment professional at Farallon Capital Management LLC, a global institutional asset management firm, from August 2001 to February 2011. At Farallon Capital Management, Lenehan was involved with numerous public and private equity investments in the real estate sector.
