Charlie Hill

Charlie is our Vice President of Operations, is one of our key contributors to the business development and new projects aspects of our company. He has been in the construction industry for over 20 years. One of the enjoyable aspects of his work is the ability to return with a smile and a handshake to visit previous customers that are proud of their projects and to see their growth and success within their new building. Attention to detail and outstanding customer service are the attributes that distinguishes the work Charlie performs for our clients and our company. He is gifted in the ability to manage the professional design resources, his familiarity with the filing and approval process and his communication skills. Charlie is one of those rare people that understand the sales, customer service, construction and local engineering requirements well enough to be a professional advocate to our clientele. Charlie is a graduate of Hanover College and played football and baseball for his alma mater. He has coached football and baseball for many years and remains a positive contributor to the community. We are pleased to have such a construction professional here to serve our valued customers.

Chase Mattingly

Chase Mattingly was born and raised in Indianapolis; he is the son of Steve Mattingly. He graduated from Cathedral High School in 2012 and later attended the University of Kentucky, where he pursued a degree in Business Communication. During his time at the university, Chase became a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. In 2017, Chase joined the Mattingly team as an Assistant Project Manager, contributing to various projects and overseeing small tenant improvements. In 2019, he and his now-wife, Tori Mattingly, relocated to Utah. There Chase worked on the new Salt Lake Airport development, a project size of 4 million square feet. Returning to Indiana in 2022, Chase reconnected with Mattingly Construction in 2023, taking on the role of Project Manager/Business Developer. His primary focus lies in retail and tenant improvement projects, where he collaborates closely with clients, guiding them through the project process. Chase firmly believes in delivering consistent high-quality attention and respect to every project, regardless of its size. Building strong relationships with clients for future referrals and projects is a key aspect of his approach. Chase and his wife Tori tied the knot in Alta, Utah, in 2021. They welcomed their son, Jack Mattingly, into the world in the Fall of 2023, and share their home with two beloved dogs. Outside of work, Chase enjoys the outdoors, maintains an active lifestyle through regular workouts, and cherishes moments spent with his family.

Denise Riegle

Denise is a key part of the Mattingly team, she is our Project Coordinator, Accountant, and Steve's right hand. She has been with Mattingly for over 20 years and continues to serve our clients and our entire team. Denise makes sure our daily operations in and out of the office run smoothly. Her number one focus is to provide our clients with the best customer service. Denise is married with two children. In her off time she enjoys competitive darts, watching her son's baseball games, and spending time with her grandson.

Marty Dignan

Marty is a Project Manager and the newest member of our team! He has 40 years of experience with Commercial, Residential, Medical, Restaurant, Education & Churches. Marty has a Golden Rule Philosophy, Due unto others as you would unto me. Treat people like you want to be treated. Also - in construction I learned several years ago - DO IT RIGHT OR MAKE IT RIGHT. You cannot go wrong with any of those thoughts. Married for 35 Years, 4 Grown Children. 5 Grandkids - Gifts from God on Earth. Grew up in the Southwest Side of Chicago as the Youngest of 9 siblings. Marty loves playing Golf, watching Hockey, Traveling, and spending time with Family & Friends.

Mike Mitchell

Mike is a Project Manager/Estimator with an eye for quality. His responsibilities include working with clients, cost estimating, project management, safety and upholding high standards of quality. He possesses effective communication skills that greatly help in working with all parties involved in the construction process. Mike has twenty-three years of experience as a project manager/estimator, nine years as a superintendent and 3 years as a framer in the industry. He has taken full project management responsibility for many large warehouse/production facilities, office & retail, restaurants, dental and veterinary projects ranging from 1,900 to 285,000 square feet. He has been part of the Mattingly Construction team for over 15 years. Mike spent 4 years in the U.S. Air Force in the Law Enforcement K-9 division. He received training in computerized construction scheduling, estimating and in project management software. Through involvement with his children he coached in "A" Division girls Fast-Pitch softball for 16 years, led his teams to the national championships for 8 years running and 3-time Indiana State Champions. Mike, his wife, children and now grandchildren enjoy many outdoor activities, hiking, boating, motorcycle riding and just enjoying nature.

Shelbie Wildridge

Shelbie is our Administrative Office Assistant, along with many other roles she has taken on here at Mattingly Construction, such as Procore Management. She graduated from Greenfield-Central High School in 2015. Since then, Shelbie has been in the Customer Service industry going on 10 years. Every day her goal is to make sure anyone who walks through our Mattingly Doors is greeted with a smile. Shelbie enjoys spending time with her son and family.

Steve Mattingly - Founder, President

As Founder & President of Mattingly Construction since 1989, Steve oversees all operations of the company while taking exceptional care of clients. Steve values the company's clients and team members, he prides himself on being responsive to both of their needs. He believes exceptional service, clear communication and great value are what contributes to our high percent of repeat clients and new clients alike. Steve takes great pride in serving our clients, and community with integrity and honesty. Steve graduated from Indiana University. He is active in the local community, on the board of non-profits and active in his church. He enjoys skiing in the winter, golfing and boating in the summer, but primarily spending time with his wife of 30+ years and his two sons.
