Bryan Rouse - Treasurer

Bryan and his wi.fe Helene have lived at 93 Laurel Lane for the past two years after previously residing in East Athens, PA. They arrived in the Valley in early 1983 from Canada where Bryan practiced medicine. Bryan retired from the practice of medicine at the Guthrie Clinic in 2019. Bryan responded to the QEELOA Board's appeal for board members at the Annual Meeting. He has no specific goals in his board membership other than effectively representing the Association Membership. Bryan's priorities are improving our road conditions and the issue of speeding on our streets.

Cynthia Baer

Cynthia Baer has lived in QEE since 2012, when she moved here with her family from Ann Arbor, MI. In her professional life, she was a software engineer and database manager. She was also certified as a special education and secondary mathematics teacher. She continues her work with children as a substitute teacher and a Science Olympics coach. She enjoys the outdoors, tennis, horseback riding, and skiing.

Dr. Marc Alpert

Dr. Marc Alpert is a retired surgeon who spent 27 years in practice outside of Philadelphia. Marc has been on various hospital and practice committees over his career. For the last 10 years in Philadelphia, he was president and CEO of a million-dollar medical practice. Marc and his wife Hillary moved to Queen Esther in 2012 when he took a job at Memorial Hospital in Towanda. Marc retired in 2016. Now he and Hillary enjoy spending time at the beach.

Francis (Frank) Belardi - VP

Francis (Frank) Belardi is a retired Guthrie physician whose medical career spanned 42 years. He and his wife, Ann, have lived in QEE since 2005. During his time at Guthrie (2000-2014) he served as a practitioner, Residency Program Director, and Department Chairman at RPH, Executive Vice President for Clinical Affairs and President/CEO of the Guthrie medical group. He sat on multiple Guthrie boards from 2006-2014 and currently sits

Jim Walck

In 1996, Jim and his wife Mary Lou built their home in Queen Esther. Jim volunteered for the Board in 2011 to coordinate annual maintenance of the dam and lake. He retired from OSRAM Sylvania in 2014 and Corning, Inc in 2019. Currently Jim consults for Corning Inc and teaches data analysis & statistical thinking. Mary Lou teaches fourth grade at Epiphany School in Sayre.

Mike Fantini - President

Mike is a retired United States Air Force Officer having served nearly 34 years on active duty. Originally a native of Medford, New Jersey and most recently Northern Virgini​a, Mike and his wife Anne relocated to Sayre Pa where he is a defense consultant. Mike retired out of the Pentagon as the acting Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategy, Integration and Requirements, and Director of the Air Force Warfighting Integration Capability. He has commanded combat forces in both Iraq and Afghanistan, along with experience in Middle East Policy as acting Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Defense. In his off time, he'll grab any type of flat object to either snow or water ski, fly any available airplane and is the proud father of three USAF officers (one son-in-law) and one budding USAF ROTC cadet.

Robin Ferrario

Robin and her husband Don built their home on Sullivan Drive in 2004. Robin has served on the QEELOA Board since 2014 and since 2015 as Secretary. As an Art Director and Account Supervisor Robin's career with worldwide advertising agencies for Fortune 500 companies spanned over 40 years. Today with Don they run the Ferrario Auto Team and are involved with Twin Tier non-profit organization fundraising efforts. Robin's joys include traveling, golf, photography, and smooth jazz!
