Lisa Hammett

With a bachelor's degree in Family Financial Services, Lisa has long desired to work in the financial services industry. She joined the team in 2021 after working several years as a commercial loan officer. Prior to that, she spent eight years in the US Air Force, as a federal agent. Lisa's professional and military experiences have provided her with skills she is proud to bring to the True Blue team, including a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a warm and compassionate nature. Lisa, her husband David, and their "tween" son Payton, enjoy spending time outdoors; fishing, grilling, and running around with their two spirited dogs, Dixie and Reggie. Lisa is passionate about helping fellow local veterans and is also a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals.

Luke Brown - Founder, President

A seasoned financial planner, Luke began his career more than two decades ago and enjoys his work today as much as he did when first starting out. He is proud to offer needs-based advice and objective, client centered planning. But most of all, Luke's integrity, honesty and conviction set him apart. In 2008 Luke chose to become an independent advisor and started his own practice, True Blue Financial, to better serve his clients. Being independent translates to broader product selection, greater technological capabilities, and an enhanced client experience. As a business owner he has a unique understanding of the complexities and challenges faced by today's small businesses. Luke is a member of Southwestern Michigan Estate Planning Council and is active in his church serving as Deacon, Treasurer, and Chair of the Stewardship Committee. He also serves as Treasurer for Vision Outreach International and the Lakeland Health Foundation. Luke and his wife Shannon have been married almost two decades and have two teenage children, Kale and Ellie.

Nicole Coar

Launching her financial career in 2013, Nicole brought to our firm an energy and attention to details that others may gloss over. She balances a sharp eye for financial excellence and a personable and engaging presence that keeps our clients informed and involved. Above all, Nicole's focus is on building quality one-on-one relationships. Nicole's husband, Victor, is a professional photographer and Photoshop specialist. Together they keep busy with their two teenage sons, Ilo and Elias, attending sporting events, band concerts, and all their high school activities. Nicole served on the Executive Board for the Saint Joseph Baseball Association for nearly a decade, volunteers as a Life member of Women's Service League, and enjoys giving back to her community through local volunteerism. She is also a member of the Southwestern Michigan Estate Planning Council.

Rick Martin

Central to all account operations and client services, Rick provides our clients with valuable coordination and reliability while providing important office support. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he understands the importance of planning, organization, and accuracy. Following eight years of active duty with the US Army, Rick spent two years as a public auditor specializing in financial institutions before joining the True Blue Financial team. Rick's time off is spent with his wife, Rebekah, their son Lucas and daughter Eva. Together they enjoy golfing, fishing, roughhousing and anything that gets them outdoors. He is also a member of The Michigan Association of CPAs and National Association of Tax Professionals.

Trish Vigansky

Trish likes to be the one who keeps the books in order and everything running efficiently behind the scenes. She brings a detail-orientation that was nurtured through her prior experiences in financial management and supply chain planning - where she learned the value of teamwork and collaboration to deliver results. Trish's husband, Jerry, is an assistant prosecutor for Berrien County. They have three adult children and are now officially ‘empty nesters'. They like to spend free time traveling to visit kids, enjoying sporting events, and volunteering. Over the years, Trish has coached, mentored young professionals, served on church boards, and is now working with local churches on strategic planning. She also continues to stay involved with the Berrien County Youth Fair as co-superintendent of the Flower exhibits, a passion carried over from her years growing up on the farm. Trish is also a member of the Indiana CPA Society.

Vicki Holt

Since 2008, Vicki has helped clients make good decisions about their finances so they can pursue and enjoy what is most important to them. Vicki's core strengths include empowering clients through clear communication and her ability to keep things simple and easy to understand. However, her level of deep compassion may be her best trait. Vicki was a collegiate volleyball player and still remains active in local area volleyball through camps, coaching and officiating. Vicki has two beautiful teenage daughters, Laurel and Cameron. Locally, she is a Life member of the Women's Service League, where she enjoys volunteering in the community. Vicki is also a board member of the Southwestern Michigan Estate Planning Council.
