RICHARD ENTWISTLE

Richard has been designing and making furniture for over 30 years. Born in Hertfordshire, he studied Furniture Design at Leicester Polytechnic, now De Montfort University. After graduation, he worked for Hille and Knoll both on the shop floor and in the design office learning furniture manufacturing techniques. Then he set up two furniture making workshops before joining Habitat as a designer in 1984. Whilst there he designed furniture and home accessory products for Habitat, Heal's and the Conran Shop... Richard Entwistle. Designer Maker in Wood. I design and make wooden objects and small pieces of furniture using only solid indigenous and exotic hardwoods sourced from local timber yards.
