Martin Oliverio is a native of Maryland. He is the eighth of 11 children and attended Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC. He is a twenty-year veteran of the Prince of George's County Police Department and retired in 2004 at the rank of Lieutenant. He graduated, cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1998 while attending night school. The same year, he was admitted to practice in Maryland, and in 1999 admitted to practice in the Federal District Court of Maryland. Martin is married with three adult children. He enjoys golf and reading Revolutionary War and World War Two era novels.
