Sarasota Westwind Flyers was formed in 2006 to allow pilots to share in the excitement and benefits of owning an aircraft, without the cost and responsibility of sole ownership... Our goal is to provide our 12 members the benefits of shared aircraft ownership without the cost and responsibility of sole aircraft ownership. With the services of a dedicated club flight instructor, we maintain operations our Cessna 182N in a safe and efficient manner. Our members enjoy costs significantly lower than sole ownership or rental... Our 12 members collectively have decades of experiences as pilots, as owners, and as members of other flying clubs. We meet monthly to discuss club business, continue our education, share experiences, and just talk aviation.
