WVIPA

The West Virginia Independent Pharmacy Association was formed in 2016 to provide a unified voice for independent pharmacies in public policy discussions... The WVIPA is negotiating with PEIA to improve pharmacy reimbursement, especially related to brand prescriptions, as well as securing an adequate dispensing fee for each prescription dispensed... The WVIPA is currently working in collaboration with the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) and others to urge the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Congress, and others to eliminate or significantly reduce DIR fees in the Medicare Part D program.
