Barry Ash

Barry Ash is a real estate professional with more than 30 years of legal and development experience. Barry's legal practice began with Ash, Anos, Freedman & Logan and continues to this day. Barry's legal practice concentrates primarily in land use and zoning, public- private financing transactions, transactions involving community and economic development, transactional real estate, leasing, landlord/tenant matters and representing condominium associations . Barry has represented numerous developers in securing required zoning, annexation and subdivision approvals to allow his clients to pursue their development opportunities. In addition, Barry has represented developers, investors and homeowners in the acquisition and development of property, including contract negotiations, due diligence, property evaluation, satisfaction of contract contingencies, project financings and closings. In addition, Barry represents client's in their disposition of their properties. Barry received his Juris Doctorate from Kent College of Law, and his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association.

Lawrence M. Freedman

Lawrence M. Freedman represents a wide range of clients in acquisitions, disposition, development, and leasing of retail properties, industrial facilities, office buildings, and residential developments. He has extensive experience in negotiating and drafting purchase agreements, commercial leases, and loan and condominium documentation. He's also an experienced land use attorney, representing developers and governmental agencies before numerous governmental bodies in negotiating and obtaining governmental entitlements, such as rezoning, special use permits, subdivisions, variations, planned use developments, and tax subsidies, in conjunction with the approval and development of office and industrial parks, residential subdivisions, religious facilities, shopping and lifestyle centers. He received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. He is a member of the Chicago Real Property Law Committee of the Chicago Bar Association, as well as the Illinois State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
