LCI (Lexington Center, Inc) a not-for-profit corporation that is the driving force behind the Art of Living programs in Chicago. Many of the staff, mentors, and volunteers of AOL are affiliated with LCI. Much like the Art of Living, LCI is committed to helping women of all ages discover that service to others is the key to self-fulfillment, personal development, and an uplifted society. The programs are inspired by the words and writings of Saint Josemaria the founder of Opus Dei...
The Art of Living aims to give young women the skills they need to take care of people with confidence and artistry, and to raise the care for the basic needs of the human person - food, clothing, shelter, health, love, and knowledge - to the level of an art. Central to the Art of Living Program is the formative value of hands-on experience.
