Dr. Dane Baker

Dr. Dane Baker, O.D. is an Iron Mountain native who obtained, with honors, his BS degree from The University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. He then completed optometry school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona California where he graduated with distinction and numerous academic and clinical awards. He is a member of the Michigan Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Dane is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Optometry for Michigan College of Optometry and Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry. Dr. Baker prides himself in delivering personalized care and developing lasting relationships with his patients. "Every patient should be given quality personal care from the heart. I take pride in safeguarding my patient's most precious sense of vision". Dr. Baker was raised in Iron Mountain and was the past president of Wildlife Unlimited of Dickinson County. He participates in many non-profit organizations and is a member of The First Presbyterian Church. In his free time Dr. Baker enjoys fishing, hunting, water sports and most importantly spending time with his wife Meagan and their daughters, Blake and Olivia Baker. Dr. Gracie Ramlow

Dr. Gracie Ramlow, O.D., a native to Iron Mountain, completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Hope College. She received her optometric degree from Indiana University where she graduated with high academic honors. While in school, she was an active member of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH), and worked as an associate instructor in Geometric and Visual Optics. Dr. Ramlow is also a member of the American Optometric Association and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, where she served as president of IU's local chapter. Her clinical interests include primary eye care, dry eye disease, soft and specialty contact lenses, and ocular disease management. Dr. Ramlow is passionate about providing high quality and personalized eye care to her community. In her spare time, Dr. Ramlow enjoys hiking, camping, playing piano, and spending quality time her with her husband, Dustin. Dr. Robert Baker

Dr. Robert Baker has been a private practicing optometrist in Iron Mountain, Michigan since 1975 and also at the Oscar G. Johnson Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He provides comprehensive eye care, with emphasis in treatment and management of ocular disease. Dr. Robert Baker has held the role as the primary eye care provider in the Iron Mountain Veterans Affairs Hospital, caring for our nations Veterans. Dr. Baker is one of two founding members of Wildlife Unlimited. He has donated countless hours to wildlife habitat preservation in our area. He also has been involved in Kiwanis and Rotary club for years. Dr. Robert Baker is lifelong member of the Michigan Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He additionally is the proud founder of Baker Eye Care, of which he managed for 42 years until his son, Dane, took over in 2016. He has a wife, Mary, and 3 children, Ben, Margaux, and Dane. He loves outdoor activities, volunteering time to his local church, wildlife unlimited, hunting, sailing, and spending time with his family. Education: 1968 Rice Lake Wisconsin High School Graduate
