With over 20 years of experience in the luxury home building business in the coastal and inland areas of Fairfield County, Bob prides himself on providing each Bluewater client with a complete customer-centric approach, from land acquisition, impeccable design and construction to aftercare. Bob continually draws on his experience and broad network of architects, designers and vendors to ensure that each Bluewater home is unique to the desires of the customer and has the most current layouts, finishes and features. Drawing on his past background as a lawyer in Manhattan, Bob has developed an easy familiarity with the various building codes and regulations effecting coastal, as well as inland, communities.
Bob lives in Westport with his wife, twin daughters and son. He is an alumni of Rutgers College and Rutgers Law School.
Darren is a third-generation builder with a passion for creating beautiful new homes. He listens intently to his clients needs and prides himself on completing projects on time and on budget. Darren believes in establishing a culture at Bluewater that starts and ends with the customer.
Darren earned his MBA, majoring in both Finance and Marketing, from NYU's Stern School of Business. He lives in Easton with his wife, three sons, & two dogs.
Dave Szymanski, "Super Dave" is 30-year Residential Master Carpentry veteran with high level skills in multiple building trades. He has a flare for technology and residential design, producing blueprints and 3D imagery for clients and contractors over the past several years. Currently a mindful well-organized Site Supervisor, Dave provides an in-depth view along with a positive attitude to help bring our projects to completion.
Joining the Bluewater Team in 2021, Heather's responsibilities include management of our proprietary project management software as well as following up with any existing customer requests. In her role, she collaborates on each build with the site supervisors to set build schedules, upload client selections, order allowance items and track client approved quotes. She is primarily responsible for collecting, managing and disseminating all the relevant information from permits, plans, specs and selections to each of the teams on each of the custom home builds. In addition, she is making sure existing incoming customer requests are handled in a professional and timely manner. Heather prides herself on her ability to multitask with ease and a meticulous attention to detail. She has a passion for home building, which was ignited after she herself built her home. Her great taste in music and funny joke telling is a bonus.
Heather lives in Greenwich, CT with her husband, daughter and their King Charles Cavalier, Mia.
We are fortunate to have Izzy as our Senior Site Supervisor. Prior to joining Bluewater, Izzy owned & operated his own construction business along with his two brothers, which had completed over 200 homes. With 30+ years experience in the construction industry, Izzy covers the many areas of development & is responsible for overseeing the project from start to finish, making sure everything is running smoothly & efficiently. Our customers find Izzy extremely personable, approachable & helpful, maintaining Bluewaters' high level of customer service.
Izzy & his wife live with their dog in Monroe, where they have raised their three daughters.
Kirsten is responsible for a diverse set of responsibilities, all which allow this company to run smoothly & so very efficiently! She has high levels of organizational effectiveness, & communication skills which ensure the smooth running of Bluewater. Kirsten is a valuable asset to our team,as well as an active volunteer in the local community. Kirsten always wears a smile & is always ready to assist our customers in any way.

Laura has been in interior design for over 25 years. Prior to running her own residential design business, Laura Gorman Interiors, she worked for some of the top hospitality interior design firms in the world. Working with all varieties of clients, Laura prides herself on truly understanding a client's needs. Her present work ranges from new construction (complete design builds), renovations, additions, retail spaces, pool houses, kitchens, bathrooms, basements renovations (complete with gyms, wine rooms, bars, saunas), and all interior finish projects. She holds a BFA from the New York School of Interior Design and is an active alumnus. Laura is also a member of ASID.
Laura resides in Fairfield, CT with her husband, their 5 children, and 2 puppies.
Wade's construction background lends itself perfectly for his role as Project Manager at Bluewater. The majority of Wade's career has been filled with upscale remodeling & home building projects. With his extensive training & experience in interior finishes, Wade understands that the small details really matter. Having operated his own business through the years he has developed the ability to collaborate with clients, architects, & designers & turn their ideas & dreams into reality.
