CALAB was founded in 1993 by Carol A. Bell. Carol began providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 1984 when she opened one of the very first public Texas ICF-IID group homes in Lubbock, TX.In 1993 CALAB began providing services to 60 individuals in ICF-IID homes across Texas.
